You are right. I’m on the island of St. Vincent and it was scary. Many house roofs were flown off. I can only imagine what the islands in the Grenadines experienced. It’s still not safe to go out right now as winds are still strong.
@@joannekearney5329 I actually live not too far away from Sandals. I can’t say for sure. But one of my neighbors works as a maintenance worker and he along with others are onsite just in case of emergencies etc. But I can reassure you that Sandals take very good care of their guests.
Fossil fuels are not fueling global warming. Natural weather cycles are doing that, coupled with mankind seeding the atmosphere and many other terrible activities.
@@universalman5861 Please keep in mind that the following was directed at Christians, not unbelievers.. The Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. 25 “And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, 26 people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” The Lesson of the Fig Tree 29 And he told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. 30 As soon as they come out in leaf, you see for yourselves and know that the summer is already near. 31 So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all has taken place. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. Luke 21:25-33.
@@EduardoGonzalez-uf1vf yes it's HAARP or it's Haarp related. It's a advance electromagnetic system used by unregulated agencies to influence the weather and manipulate consciousness.
Help me with your best guess; Thursday July 4, I fly at 10am out of D.C/Dullas/IAD, on way to Panama City, what is the likelihood that the strom will have passed the path for that flight? or does it appear that flight would be canceled?
I understand meteorology is often imperfect in forecasting, and that is perfectly acceptable. But when five different sources plot five different projected courses for a hurricane(in this instance ), it’s difficult to pay any attention at all until there is an unmistakable path. Regardless, it’s good to be prepared.
Please be safe everyone. And if the remnants are turning north, here's hoping it moves up the Rio Grande valley... those wildfires could use a good soaking (despite the increased flood risk of the soil).
The Islanders are better prepared than Mainlanders, they are Hardened by Years of Storms...Seasoned Veterans you might say. I don't hear tell of Barbados being wiped of the planet, not other islands, lots of broken Glass, Tree's, some flooding. Funny, 8 years ago, storm passed through heavily damaged apartments hotels tree's but the next morning, the beach was fully intact, all the sand, a few chairs tossed around and by 5 p.m. SPIT Chicken was smok'n my neighbors out, cold beer, salad's. The storm was 20 feet above the beach, town etc... came in said Hello and See You All Next Time.... Stay Positive Friends...
I'm praying for those affected in the Caribbean. I'm also concerned for Houston and South Texas. This storm is reminiscent of Harvey, which took a nearly identical path. It weakened to a tropical wave before reaching the Yucatan, then tracked north from the Yucatan and strengthened into a category 4 hurricane over the Gulf.
How so? I live in Trinidad, we did not get a direct hit. Thank God. But rain and some wind, a few downed trees in Tobago. We are still heavily overcast. Hurricane Beryl is very real,
Most likely a tropical storm or tropical depression. It is going to weak a lot due high pressure. Just follow up for updates. Bernie is one of the west.
I remember when it was either Hurricane Maria or Irma that decimated Martinique. I pray that it's not the same with Beryl. The female-named storms seem to always cause devastation.
