I own a Hedgehog umbrella and love it! By the way, the real reason the handle is hollow- it's where you store the cover when you're using the umbrella (keeps you from losing it!)

I live in western NY, and almost every time it rains, there are strong gusts of wind between 20 and 40mph. I can't make an umbrella last either. I will consider the Hedgehog. I like the fact that it's lightweight. Thank you for your review! 😊👍👍

Thanks for the amazing review! As for the handle design, we created an internal compartment as a way to store the umbrella enclosure. Normally, we try to avoid storms like that as well but if do you need to venture out in weather as severe as that, we at least got your covered!

@epicreviewguys FYI, the hollow part of the handle is for you to stash the umbrella cover while it is in use. Love this clever solution because I always loose my umbrella covers. Found out about the hollow handle via Hedgehog's email campaign. Would be great if @hedgehogumbrella put this on their blog.
