Can hear the Haruomi Hosono influence in this. Reminds me of his Aegean Sea and Pacific albums. Sounds like there's a bit of Masayoshi Takanaka in there too.

Louie is my inspiration fr, he is a great musician and composer, great animator (both in 2d and 3d) and was in the production of some of the best animated series, you gotta admire such a cool dude.

This is the audio equivalent of floating in a pool, down to the weird wibbly wobbly feeling of the waves rocking you around

Absolutely loving the Takanaka J-rock vibes! This is so intensely tropical that I could be in a blizzard and still feel warm, listening to this. I’m getting slight “Weather Channel” vibes too, with the jazz undertones. I would adore a Weather forecasting service using music like yours to accompany my daily weather broadcast.

This is one of Louie's most Video game -esque albums ever, I love it so much.

I just want to thank you for releasing this album when you did, you released it the day I had to call out from work being sick with the flu, and I listened to it on repeate for awhile that day, as your music is always light hearted enough to put me in a better mood. You also have my respect as a musician when it comes to putting out music so constantly with consistent quality while still being true to yourself and pushing yourself. Im a guitarist and when Im not listening to like Polyphia and Stevie Ray, your music is a great break to rest my brain without having to turn off my music entirely. And I mean that in the best way possible. After spending an hour or so analyzing amazing players there is something to be said for your music which is amazing in its own sense for the straightforward wholesome healing simplicity of it.
