I'm glad that unlike the previous hurricane this one is passing on through back out to water. I'm an OTR trucker and I run regional dedicated out of Carlisle, PA. I know the remnants of Helene certainly hung around for a good while. Few of my friends from online live down in the Tampa area. They evacuated early and went to stay with family elsewhere. Still waiting to hear back from them.

Thankfully it dropped to a Category 3, but the immense size and power is hard to measure by windspeed alone. Hopefully everyone is okay. The problem for Tampa is that it has a bay that gets pushed west into the peninsula... not as bad as the whole ocean, but still not great.

You can see and hear the wind there is not bad at all. Just a lot of rain. These news ppl need to stop kissing each others butt about how brave they are and to be safe when you can clearly see she is not in a dangerous location. I live in south florida and I've seen much worse. I hope and pray for everyone that the weather near them is no worse than what we are seeing in this video.
