Looking at this video is now seeing history as the visitors center burned to the ground about a month ago. The road is closed and there is no access to the ridge at this time. I was raised vacationing there for many years and then moved to the are and it became a beloved day trip, the loss is heart breaking but we are assured that the center will be rebuilt and hopefully the road will be open again soon.😢
