God protect all the people that are going to affected by this storm. Just happy its not as strong as it could be a hoping the surge and flooding are at a minimum. Material things can be replaced people cannot be. Stay safe.

I was born in there. Brownsville, Texas, got its name from Fort Brown, a military post established in 1846 during the Mexican-American War. The fort was named in honor of Major Jacob Brown, who died in the Siege of Fort Texas, an earlier name for the same fort.
