Thank you for creating this great instruction video, I recently purchased this Hurst Pistol grip handle. I followed your instructions and it was easy and did not scratch any of my car interior parts. If I followed the instructions from Hurst I would have scratched my metal piece on the center console. It is very difficult to remove the metal piece on center console.

Hey i just installed the shifter today. I'm running into trouble. I followed all the steps until I placed the new shifter on. It's moving around and I get it to stay down even after i put the screw in. What am I doing wrong?? Thanks

I just ordered a Hurst shifter just now. Watching your video and seeing how simple it look to install gave me the confidence to do it myself. Once I do the installation I'll let you know how it went.

Hurst should take the instructions manual and just print the url to this video. The only thing I would caution is to not push the handle completely down as it engages the shifter. Had issues with the car not staying completely in park and the shift lock from N to R not working until I raised it up slightly.

No officer it’s a pistol grip 😂no officer it’s very unlikely I will shoot anything unless my transmission blows up😂
