It's a very poor parody. The whole point of the joke on American Psycho is that all the business cards are the same (or at least to the "average" person, they look it). This guy kinda ruins the joke by having the rings be different.
I imagine one guy pulling out a stainless steel ring you get from a gumball machine and the others start laughing but he says: "Proposed when we both were 7 with a ring pop i got out a machine. That was purchased from the same machine."
"Well looks like a nice ring." Puts it in the bag. "Now.. *Lifts mp5 to his shoulder.* EVERYBODY ON THE GROUND NOW!."-a surviving terrorist accomplice.
I love the American Psycho reference. That business card scene def makes me giggle all the time. Patrick Bateman is so shallow, no, they all are for comparing cards 😭 I mean seriously.
The entire premise of the book and movie is that they are all "American psychos" in a way because they are so obsessed with superficial success and work at jobs they hate and have marriages with no love just to achieve that superficial success
Oh wow that would be amazing. Them just kneeling and holding out a sword and accepting by taking the sword and "knighting" them. Dang. If only my future spouse could read my mind so I didn't have to explicitly tell them how I want to be proposed to
I think it's funny how the American Psycho meme is just popping back into existence in an era where a lot of viewers wouldn't get the Sonic "ORIGINAL CHARACTER DO NOT STEAL" aspect.
