Today we're looking at the Husqvarna 128CD 28cc Curved Shaft trimmer. It packs a ton of power while not being too heavy. Re-stringing is very simple and easy in my opinion compared to many others on the market.

I love mine, own a small family lawncare company, it shreds through weeds and did a ditch on a 16 acre home. Very powerful. If it's not it's almost always user error, these are tanks. Craftsman has completely gone downhill and not worth it for an average homeowner even.

Don't trust Amazon sellers. They claim the T25 trimmer head will work with the 128CD. It does not fit the thread. The proper part number for the 128CD trimmer head is TGN7 (3/8 RH arbor shaft thread). The TGN7 is hard to find.

Ive heard to not use trufuel and to use red armor instead

Got a free used 2008 model, very powerful. With red trufuel, it was hard to start and idle bad/big,. Switched to old mix. Runs well. Start 2nd pull. Idle well around 2800rpm, never die.

Does the 128 CD take attachments like the LD?

@@mkfan6167 all the info on the Lowe’s website and even on Husqvarna’s site it says it’s attachment capable, but if you look at the digital manual on the husqvarna website it says it can’t take a brush blade and that it doesn’t take attachments. Furthered by the fact the arbors for each machines’ cable/shaft” is different. But I still think you’re right, even though the arbors are different sizes I think it will still take attachments.
