Fixing a Husqvarna 150 BT Backpack Leaf Blower. In the video I was unsure of the price. I looked it up and it goes for $350 at Lowes.

Why do some have the red choke lever and some blue? I hear the red choke ones are better. Any thoughts on that?

@Mudford so I found out what the differences are in the two BT150 one with the blue choke is a standard 2 stroke engine the other one with the red choke control has the newest X torque engine which provides much more power and is considered commercial grade. It has alot more torque at higher speeds making it a better choice. There both the same price but the blue choke one goes on sale alot for $279 while the other one holds at $349. For the extra $70 go with the red choke lever unit.

I’ve rebuilt mine twice. The snap ring on the camshaft is bad about piping off and totally ruining the cylinder and piston. They are junk don’t waste your time or money
