So I have the exact same machine and this just happened to me today...big blizzard passed through and the drive isn’t working at all...so after swearing a lot I grabbed my cell and RU-vidd it...found this video after only a few minutes...thank you for posting this...really helped me today..had it fixed in 10 minutes...cheers from Ontario Canada 🍻
Great explanation of how it works, but where is the "drive belt adjustment" part? My st230p has the friction disc too far to the left, hence no reverse. How do I adjust it?
I have had this happen twice, any ideas on why it comes off and how to adjust the tension? Also if you are tipping the machine on its face it is best to siphon the gas out of the tank.
If you don’t have too much gas, then it should be ok without siphoning. I believe snow got stuck underneath , caused the belt to move. Haven’t look into adjustments yet
Do you have any videos on how to adjust the auger cable. My z hook came off after i put the auger belt back on. Something got too tight and the z hook popped out of the handle. Thanks.
@@dimmydimmies I had the auger cable snagged around a bolt down where the belts are. The spring broke off for the cable down where it connects by the belts. Easy fix.
