I’m digging these videos . Refreshing to see someone letting the saw do the cutting . I use almost this identical set up on my 160 acres. I have the single axle version with the extended sides . Run a ported rancher 455 and and xp 562 . Pulling manly pine , poplar and birch . That’s my happy place . ⛓🪚🌲🔥
@@BenOfficial94 I meant to say a dual ported muffler rancher! it’s my bush saw , our woods are very dense and like the nimbleness. Your fortunate to have the openness to harvest that standing dead. Have a great day ! I burned threw all your vids already !!
I cut with a 562 xp and an Echo P both with 24" bar down south in the hardwoods. I cut about 6 or 7 cords per year for firewood and trash wood to keep the shooting lanes open. Both saws work well, of course the Husky is so much better...enjoy watching you work. Good stuff. Keep it up
Which echo do you run? I've only ever ran a 590 timberwolf but run a brushcutter and a weed whacker quite regularly. I cut about 10 cords a year for myself and 10-15 for my workplace and a neighbor on occasion. We also log for a few months a year at my workplace. Thanks for your support/comments!
@@BenOfficial94 sorry...left the model out 600P echo. Its a good saw and bought it about 6 years ago. Had to replace the oiler gear last year and a line for the oiler this year. It starts after 3 or 4 pulls so i cant really complain. I also have an Echo weedeater that runs like a champ...I bought the Husky this year, its a beast...
For sure, I had gotten this chain for free from a friend and we were both curious how it would do "as is". It definitely needs a raker job and some filing. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video. Great to see you wearing your rubber boots again with your chainsaw pants over top, they look great like that and are a big improvement from your old leather ones. You don't have much snow there I noticed. Are you closer to Williams Lake or 100 Mile?
@@BenOfficial94 Cool, a few years ago I went to the BCRA rodeo finals in Quesnel which was fun to watch. The barn dance after was awesome too. Nice part of BC up there.
