Yes. With only 70 miles from new one of the pins of the shift star broke off and it would no longer change gear. I took it back under warranty and I was there when the technician took the clutch cover off. It was clear it was a manufacturing defect with a weakness in that pin. The shift star was replaced and I have had no further issue with that.

I get great satisfaction when I hear those whacks with the investment of the massive bash guard.
