We sold +2500 units for the cousin 790/890 which we have improved and this new model is again more reinforced and well made thanks to the 790/890 experience so yes, it has been more than tested :)

Amazing! Is it possible to paint it? I like the color contrast of the original skidplate with the rest of the bike and would like to keep the original palette.
Yes it is in the package, the final version of the sticker is a bit different to suit better with the bike design :) but anytime, you will have the sticker kit with the skid plate package ;)
Why the Touring version is not recommended for harder terrain? What exactly are the differences with the Hard version, apart for the centerstand compatibility?
you can have a look to both videos (hard and touring), you'll see the difference at the rear fixation. The touring is strong as well but to us, a bit less than the hard version.
@@axpracing I've seen both but you don't show what specifically is this difference in strengthen/durability. The fact that one is compatible with a centre stand does not explain why you say it's less suitable offroad.
@@impact0r we don't ask you anything, you're free ! If you watched both videos, you may saw that the HARD ( not compatible with center stand) had two longer alloy brackets fixed on the pegs mounts and the TOURING (compatible with center stand) is fixed at the rear thanks to 2 alloys brackets fixed with a 8mm diameter bolt in the engine case. The efforts will be better absorbs by HARD option. All depends of your use. Once again, if you're going to hit some logs or other hard stuff, HARD version is recommended. If you just go riding soft tracks with only small rocks, so the TOURING is perfect. I wou really like to purchase 1 that cater for the center stand. My problem is that I live in South Africa and I need a way to ship directly to me. So I need to pay duties etc with the shipping costs so they can deliver door to door. If it ends up at our mailing service then chances are that I will never receive them. I got parcels sitting with them for over a year now.

@@sanketmhatre9242 so you tested it already to affirm ? if it brokes, it's due to bad production. Most of the time, our skid plate hold on without any issue ;)
The thickness of that particular plastic material suggests it will be very durable indeed. It's already been thoroughly tested on other similar bikes. Plastic slides over hard and sharp surfaces better than aluminium or steel. It weighs less. Its flexibility reduces the level of impact which can be transferred to the frame.
