My 24 48 . Had same problem . I fabricated an additional bush and brace and now rigid and fully functional.

One made out of nylon would last for many years. My parents bough a house in New Orleans in 1957. It had a sliding glass door that rolled on nylon rollers on an aluminum channel. It still rolled fine in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina flooded the house. I can't imagine how many times that door was opened and closed. After Katrina the house was torn down. The neighbors eventually bought the lot from the government.

HDPE would be better too. I'm sure someone could 3d print these easily.

Husqvarna has superseded part numbers and has a bearing kit available now. I have a LGTH22V48 and my plastic bushing is wallowed out.

Excellent, except my tractor looks the same as yours but does NOT have a nut on the steering wheel, mine has a bolt and a long collar that the "white" bushing will not come off of and the collar will not come off of the sterring shaft, even after I heated it with mapp gas...hmmm?
