I have the same model. Just fired her up after winter slumber np. Those 15 Kohler are kick ass! Good start and runner's and can mow some heavy grass "if need be"
Reverse in these are slow more so, for a hydrostat drive..Put 250 $ Canadian into my 42 inch deck last summer, new deck spindles, deck bearings runs great. I got it for a trade on a wood stove about 5 years ago from a buddy, Hope it wasn't rap those neighbours were cranking out..

Nope its not to be technical about it Husqvarna actually has made some of the craftsmans..I got a 2015 model craftsman with a Kohler engine thats made by them but, a husqvarna and craftsman are pretty much similar unless the craftsman is MTD built and there are plenty of craftsmans out there with a Kohler engine. My neighbors have two craftsmans that way and my craftsman is that way. However I have had some other craftsmans with briggs though.
