Hi Wayne, nope I haven’t had anyone casting above my head before apart from I have known people feathering where A) it clearly says not to and B) where common sense says it is not safe to do so, kids and general public being around etc. However where you were I’d expect people to have a reasonable understanding of sea fishing and what is safe and not safe to do 🤷. Anyway, great vid as always and I have to say you certainly rock the ‘angler out fishing in his boxer shorts’ look 😁👍 Keep going, your time, resources and effort are really appreciated.

Hiya Wayne, I was fishing a popular mark in Holyhead few years ago, same again I waa fishing for few hours, two lads turned up and set up above me, whilst It annoyed me they stayed pretty respectfull ish by casting left where I could still fish where I was unhindered, still unnerving someone casting above you. Well done for not escalating things and staying calm ish. Take care bud.

I lived in Wales for 5 years and fished right around the coast and only had one incident like you had. 99.9% of the people were wonderful and I love the country and coast

One of my favoured ray marks that one. Never had anyone fish over my head there though. Would have told them to go away.

Life is full of knobs but you seldom come into contact with them. You obviously found a great big one! That's why I love fishing with braid as it just loves normal fishing line Ha Ha. I wouldn't have been as calm as you mate but those bits you probably kept off camera. Stay safe and calm buddy 😊

It's a shame when a few spoil it for the majority. Fishing last week, another fisherman came along and I offered to move so he could squeeze in but he said he wouldn't dream of asking anyone to move to fish and we had a very friendly chat before he moved on. People like those above you are frustrating, together with those who leave all their rubbish behind them giving fishermen a bad name. Keep going, love the videos.

You need to take a drop net with you for landing those spiders, then you can tuck into a nice crab salad for tea! As for the person fishing over your head, maybe he needs putting in the drop net and feeding to the crabs!

Brilliant again mate...love your stuff... We went maccy bashing the other night ,and the bite was on ...But inthe midst of being chuffed to finally get a hook wet, and actually catching some fish,..I left my new reel on backwind ,and suddenly found that god awful line loops under the spool etc...,in the half light ,and trying to hurry ,I dropped the spool washer in the sand...onthat point ,I suddenly developed Tourettes syndrome ,and the power of thor raging through me 😂😂😂. But I remembered your calm manner and suddenly things were OK in the world again...Nanny got fresh mackerel, and I've stocked a few in as bait as well ....and my little boy finally saw a few fish lol 😆...

seen it loads in my carp fishing but never in sea fishing...welsh,french, spanish or double dutch no matter what language he was speaking there is no way i couldve bitten my tongue. well done mate

I live here in anglesey and some locals can be like that luckily im South african and dont take any shit i would of never tollerated that and his rod would of ended up in the drink !!! I hope you have a great time here in Anglesey a good mark for Tope head to the range near thrader bay follow the path to the head of a huge bay deep water mark full of pollock and ling just be careful on those rocks and wear sensable shoes enjoy Anglesey its for all of us

12/0 hooking arrangement, 180lb snood, heavy on the back cast, let the rod do the work and send that body into the bay... I advise a rolling lead, let that body roll around in the tide and pick up those extra bites 😊.... Sorry you got your session spoilt by a gimp.

It happened because you’re English, which is why they spoke welsh to you, there’s still a hatred for the English in wales by some people, they saw it as you on “their “ mark in “ their” country , Anglesey was one of the worst places for the anti English rhetoric through covid ( and before to be honest) I’ve had similar encounters myself in various parts of wales , had some gonk chunnering on about us in welsh ,, who quickly shut his gob when I answered him in welsh , because I am welsh , just without the accent 😂😂, pity you didn’t get the dipstick on camera and the decent welsh people could have put it all over social media, and shamed them 😂😂, anyway “ sori o gymru” “ diolch am dod “ 👍👍🤠
