Join me yet again for a session on the mighty Chesil Beach, this time we fish storm Babet for Bass & Cod. Lucky I bag a few. Thanks again for your support. Wayne
Mate I work a million hours and have three kids so watching you fish just reminds me of how much I love fishing and when the kids are more independent I’ll be able to get back out there keep the videos going mate as you’re keeping a few of us sane
Nice one shippers, hope to bump into you one day for a ditty, maybe on Chesil or Brean. I've just started fishing again after a 6 year break, its coming on and I haven't blanked in my first 5 trips (yet :-}. All the best, Percy Pongo.
I think I can speak on behalf of all your subs , you never have to apologise for blanking or anything else . You make us all smile with your attitude and ability. I for one would love to go for a pint with you . Keep going , your a top bloke I recon 👍🏻
Loved the video Wayne I know you were disappointed with the sound issues but it certainly didn't spoil the watching of the video. We will have to start calling you the Bass Man !!!!
I went to Chesil 3 tines thst week and struggled with the conditions so at least I know it wasn't just me 😂. Thanks for the video, has helped this Chesil newbie 👍
Hi Wayne, great vid as per usual,we were left of you about 100 yds away,Isle of Wight boys,we got home safely thanks,I got absolutely drenched as my bivvy was facing the rain at the time so I closed my door & braved it by my rods.Had 2 codling 5 & 5 1/2 lb plus the usual suspects & my mate had 1 codling & a 12oz Dab which looked huge ! Hoping to get back in November.Keep up the good work mate 😉
Great video despite the mic issue. Well done on those Bass in tough conditions. Do you ever use fixed wire leads for tough conditions/strong tides, I fish Dungeness in Kent and sometimes it's the only way to fish due to strong tides, we find the fish hook themselves and only a decent one will trip the lead as they grip hard with uptide tactics. The downside is they don't cast as well and are hard work to reel in so need a powerful reel such as 525/slosh. My other fave is Gemini 6/7/8 Oz breakout and an elastic band wrapped around the wires for better grip tension, holds better than a standard breakout but easier to reel in than a fixed wire and casts further. Looking forward to more of your videos on the wonderful Chesil.
Excellent stuff again mate, some great fish there!! No need to apologise about the mics, sh#t happens, we all know that. Keep the videos coming in, alway look forward to a new one appearing!!
Hi Wayne your doing a grand job mate keep it up no running about chesil in your birthday suit 😮😮😮 scare the fish sorry mate ha ha ha heading to Taunton Friday then dawlish Saturday whoo tight lines Wayne 🎣🎣🎣🎣🦈🦈🦈🦈
Still a great video despite the sound, what distance were you casting with 8oz,those rods look awesome for that job, providing you have the technique which you have
Loving the channel mate Netflix need to hit you up for a special or even better a weekly show! Everybody blanks especially if your sticking to your guns on a species hun or going for a leviathan! I can guarantee every person that has subscribed loves every video and most importantly learns something about fishing the conditions or venue. Never stop please 🙏
Hi Wayne, I am well thank you, hope your ok too. Another great video much better with the voice over than poor sound. Thank you for your safety advise, does not seem to be taken by people around you. Look forward to the next video.
Hi Wayne, great vid as norm despite the sound !! That was me “Nik”up to ya right, yes that was heavy rain for a while😮 had a few fish but lost a decent fish in the breaker, keep up the good work mate 👍
@TheShoreHunter fair enough mate. I see people winding multis like their life depends on it and wonder why they don't switch. I guess it's like android vs apple, everyone knows android is better, the apple folk are just too stubborn to admit it 😉🤣🤣
Sorry Andrew that id not rough. At the moment I am in West bay on holiday cannot get out of caravan due to flooding waves going over one harbour wall hitting the other wall other side. But stay safe mate
Great session wayne great bass shame the cod were not smashing your baits but thats chesil shame the sound died but thats fishing, keep the vids coming.
Fair play mate. I'm not sure what others think but in my personal opinion it's the moments like this when the mics fail, or when there's a blank etc that keeps me watching them, it makes it real, and pushing through the hurdles to make a video just creates respect. We go fishing cus times can be tough, so for someone to face similar hurdles and overcome it, just spurs us all on. Keep em comin 👍
Loving your channel Wayne. Not long found it and enjoying working back through your videos. Used to do some fishing on the channel and Chesil as also live in Somerset but work life and other commitments seem to get in the way. Watching your channel is giving me that urge to get some new kit and head back out. Keep up the good work!!!
@@TheShoreHunter Fully agree mate. Nothing like some countryside, on the river or coastline to bring in some peace and put normal day to day life to one side for a while! Just need the wet stuff to stay away for a while 🙂
What can I say Wayne your epic the fishing was epic I can't say much more. You won't be able to walk down the street soon without Wayne, Wayne Wayne Lol. You deserve it mate. Stay safe mate I'll just keep taking the pills 😊
I'm great Wayne thank you hope your all good. Great video some lovely fish shame your mic failed but that's life nothing you can do about that (me and my mates are thinking off coming up In a couple off months from plymouth what would be the best winds to avoid I fished it once my other mate has never fished it tight lines 🐟😭👍
A great session Wayne, and doing a voice over because the mike failed didn't make the video any less enjoyable. Plenty of good tips for those that don't know Chesil too. I've just got one of those Snugs myself but have yet to use it due to a variety of reasons, but will as soon as this next storm has passed.
Hilarious - properly caught with yer pants down! Great session and well rescued with the ever-entertaining commentary over-dub. Top info', too. Thanks, as always 🙂
You keep fishing I’ll keep watching Wayne. I think it all adds to it when things go wrong and you show it. The weather will always get in where you don’t want it 🤦♂️🐟🎣
Evening Wayne great Monday night treat. Omg so many brilliant fish. Do love the scenery and the sunset looks amazing and on my bucket list to fish there. Already looking forward to your next offering. Stay safe well and happy keep up the great work 👍👍
Absolutely brilliant fishing in really awkward conditions mate. Much better session than I had the other weekend! I’m planning a trip back up to the Holderness coast again soon. Hopefully the weed will have buggered off and things will be a bit more relaxed and the fishing easier. Fishing really helps my mental health, even if it’s just watching you having a great time out on the beach. Thank you so, so much for what you do buddy. It really does help keep me sane. I just wish I could catch half as many fish as you do! It would be a dream to come and have a coaching session with you, but Chesil is nearly 5 hours drive for me, but I suppose what I’d learn would be more valuable than any amount of petrol money and time it took to get there! Keep up the great work buddy. I absolutely love what you do. Thank you, so, so much my friend!
Have as much confidence as you have in fishing in the fact your videos are Ace and no need to change anything 🙌🏼. Like many others unable to get fishing as much as we would like and get a lot out of your videos. Learning all the time. 👍🏼
Hi Wayne, As usual absolutely brilliant from start to finish shame about the sound but I still enjoyed it, I'll be down in December January to try some of your tactics for catching fish off Chesil Greetings for Durham. thanks Jimmy
In July I followed your tips for catching smooth hounds and blonde ray absolutely brilliant King Prawn and sand eel you are fantastic keep the good work up@@TheShoreHunter
