The height adj is really pretty simple. A is a 1 1/4 , b 1 1/2 , c 1 3/4 and so on. The plastic covers kinda of a pain. I drilled a 3/8 hole in the end of them. I take a rubber tipped blow gun and blow them out when blowing off the mower. Thanks for video well done
Yeah I had the height adjustment figured out and for a home owner, it won't be changed that much anyway. Decided to put a sticker on mine with the heights. Love the mower. Thanks
Hustler knew these brackets were weak and other than do a recall and fix them they make a kit for you to buy and they want to put it on for you and charge you which I think is a real rip-off
That is a good point. I have found that most people had this issue under the warranty period. I broke mine in about 50 hours. Of course I used mine a lot and in some me pretty rough areas.
First to comment 🤗. Nice review brother. Its a nice machine. I always remove the pulley covers on my mowers...much easier to clean the deck after mowing😜. I got your sticker...Thank You! I will send you something back. I haven't gotten stickers yet🙄. I wish I had gotten a suspension seat on my JD ZTrak when I got it, I need to upgrade😁😜. Keep grinding brother and be safe out there!!
If I didn't have them young guys on the mower, I'd probably remove them too. Glad you got the sticker, you don't owe me anything for it. That suspension mechanism is only about 200 and will work with existing seat. Appreciate you buddy.
I do too brother my dad has a 17-year-old Kubota ZD21 and he said that is one of the best things you can do is to get that stupid cover off there. I always blow my mower off after every use and maintain servicing of all fluids and those two things alone will make your mower last a lot longer than most folks mowers.
@@cleangreenlawnservicellc2630 Thank you brother I am looking at getting one of these mowers. I looked at Kubota, Bobcat, and Ariens and this one really is the one I have settled on! Thank you for this review. Still, there are only a handful of reviews for this mower and I am looking forward to getting mine and doing a review as you have to try to give another helpful vid to others who are looking at getting this mower. God bless you and your family!
The seat came on the mower but here's a suspension bracket to mount under it: www.amazon.com/MAXPOWER-12530-Suspension-Riding-Tractors/dp/B0081H3JH0/ref=asc_df_B0081H3JH0/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=198093653755&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17731839809694614666&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9011329&hvtargid=pla-319671453963&psc=1
I'm sure you know this, but the seat is original. I added a suspension device under it which I got from my dealer. You can also find virtually the same thing on Amazon.
I know this is a year old so you may have found your answer but his suspension looks similar to what I bought on amazon. Try looking up Trac Seats Suspension Kit. Makes a huge difference and can be made to fit a number of different mowers.
Gotcha. Got an after market label with inches on mine. Of course it is a residential machine and I doubt a home owner changes it a lot. Definitely a better set up on the X-One.
Thanks Gerald. We just released our 500 HOUR review of the Hustler SD. We use 3 of them commercially believe or not and did a 500 Hour Review Here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o2ApqlIJBzA.html
@@cleangreenlawnservicellc2630 there good mowers after 300 hours mine developed slop in the control linkages so I ordered new parts and that tightened it up.no I keep some never sieze lube on all the pivot points. Just really maintenance. I had the belt tensioner spring for the deck fail twice..and the pump belt snapped I do alot of hilly lawns. It has the updated pump bracket.
