Kenneth Copeland Ministries and Mike Barber Ministries come together to reach prison inmates for Jesus. In this powerful video, you’ll hear from convicted men who have been hardened by tragedy, abuse, poor choices and life behind bars. You’ll hear how their lives changed once they surrendered to Jesus.
Mike Barber, founder of Mike Barber Ministries, knows the life-changing effects of surrendering to the Lord. He admits that as a young man he, himself, was angry. Because he played football for the NFL, he was able to vent his anger on the football field, but that didn’t lessen the anger and pain he carried. Then one day Mike had an encounter with Jesus. He was saved and set free from the anger he had felt. Not long after his salvation, Mike felt the Lord leading him into full-time prison ministry. In 1985, he founded Mike Barber Ministries.
Today, Mike Barber and his staff minister in prisons across multiple states. He explains, “These men and these women come out of their own free will. No inmate is ever made to come out [and attend one of our meetings]. Worship is pivotal at our meetings… Then we preach the Word of God, and we see this amazing altar call in every single prison [we visit].”
Mike Barber thanks the Partners of Kenneth Copeland Ministries for supporting their ministry. It’s because of KCM Partners’ twice-sown-seed that Mike Barber Ministries is able to do all it’s able to do and go everywhere it’s able to go.
Mike Barber Ministries is just one of the outreaches Kenneth Copeland Ministries supports. Ten percent of every gift KCM receives is sown into other ministries around the globe. We call it twice-sown seed. Partners sow it into KCM, and KCM sows it into others. Those gifts are used to help with orphanages, food outreach, prison ministries, evangelistic associations, translation of Bible teaching material and more.
