I had been singing since 11 am in Trafalger Square and had lost my voice by the end of the night, was gone for 2 days. But good memories
Craig Browns reaction to the goal is one of the best iv ever seen, Walter Smith when caldwell scored in at France is a close second.....I felt the agony in his face when you could see him cleary mouthin "aw fuck" at 1.58-2.01 Brown and Weird still going strong 11 years later, our time will come

Well said. I used to go to this fixture, home and away for years and the atmosphere was tremendous. It was only in the last few years of the fixture that it was spoiled by casuals out for trouble. Its a pity that 120 years of great tradition is ended by a few mindless thugs.
I want to say 3 things - Craig Brown was a partiot and did his absolute best and that was a terrific safe by Seaman from Dailly's diving header.Lastly - I nearly had a heart attack when the Don stuck that cross in. Its wonderful being Scottish.
Never expected to win that tie at any point, but getting a win at Wembley was good enough, it shared the wins and proved we could compete with England. Rather not play them now though, I'd like to keep the last memory of the Auld Enemy game as a win and not a spanking, hahaha. :D
I like united. My best mate is united fan, i go to all united games in edinburgh(hearts, hibs) and enjoyed united being robbed by rangers in cup final year and half ago. For me Webster, and swanston must be worth a call up.
I'm glad you noticed that England's navy shorts are in respect of Scotland, cos a few years ago i was looking at the front of Jimmy Greaves' book, and his early 60s England kit had a red stripe on the sox. I thought "Union Jack strip", and then it dawned on me.......... Haven't mentioned it for fear of starting a war! Funny how Scotland's traditional away kit mirrors England' s home strip.

If Seaman hadn't made the save of his career from Dailly's header that would have meant the game going to extra time & we would have surely gone on to win the tie, because even though it was 2:2 on aggregate, in that match we would have been 2:0 up and the English would have been al over the place.
@weatherallc05 Scotland under 21 team just took 3 point in Nimijen Holland.The Dutch have won three out of the last Euro championships played at that level.We have plenty of quality kids waiting in the wings.As that result clearly shows.The world will sit up and take notice now.Any nation would have been proud of that result.We are blooding our players younger now.And that is a good thing.Giving them the experience,to get us up the rankings.Many who have EPL clubs cahsing there services,all good

@MillardTi We lost cos Paul Lambert got injured in a Celtic game on the wed night.Who was one of the best holding midfielders in Britain at the time.He would have stopped those goals,and man marked Scholes out the game.Just like Ferguson man marked Beckham out the game at Wembley.

@MillardTi No delusion just cold hard facts.We actually mist more players when I think about it.All these guys were injured and we still won.GORDON,HUTTON,WHITTAKER,BERRA,D FLETHER,COMMONS,McFADDEN,McCULLOCH,we never played Wallace our best left back.As he is is adjusting to life at Rangers.And there was no S Fletcher again,as he has still spat the dummy out.So our team could have been a lot stronger.Brown to came off injured,play most of it without his strength and energy in there.We done well.

Erm ... guys ... this was a defeat for Scotland. England were defending a two goal lead over two legs. If you watch the end of the game, you'll see the English celebrating and the Scots disappointed! That's cause England won and Scotland lost!

scotland WON the game, despite what an AGGREGATE scoreline says. Most scots would have chose a win at the old wembleys last match than goto a final. England are much worse of now than they were in this video, and scotland are much better off, hence why they refuse to participate in a home nations cup.
@Justdisco2 We need to bring more P.E into schools.When I was there,there was hardly any fat kids.And I was there,when the teachers were striking all the time.In the Thatcher years in the 80ties and early 90ties.We managed to keep ourself fit.As all we had to do,when we came home was to play football.I had to stop playing years ago.And my body shape changed in months.So I got stuck into the sit ups.And hit the weights,all on my own.I canny stand poncey gyms,full of people that I do not know.

@dudleytim123 Also for the record I might add.We have players injured that are EPL players week in and week out.We need to remember that we are only as good as our last game.Its a good old adage to live bye.And its certainly true,when you just beat a team that was ranked 40 places above you in your last game.And were at the world cup like Denmark were.But this is the crazy thing.I know and the boss knows.We can play a lot better than that.With Darren Fletcher back in the team.And Adam passing.

@irategoblin It's the Italians,Turks and indians that are providing the fatty foods so what does that say ? Scotland never had an obease pproblem untill chip shops and kebab houses opened up, problem is we Scots are to lazy to cook proper wholesome food so untill there's a major culture shake up the Scots will contiue live unhealthy lives, I understand it does not apply to evrery scot but the majority it does.
yes there is a so called 'friendly' going ahead in August 2013, im sure it wont be a friendly but i have missed the auld enemy matches, there's nothing quite like them, i know we got fucked by USA, it was awful, we need to pull our finger out, no doubt about that
