After being in super cruise for 16 million years, I finally made it to Hutton Orbital to claim the free ship that so many people on Facebook said you get.
I started this journey when I was 12, was frozen in a Cryogen chamber when I was 50 and woken when the ship arrived at the Alpha Centauri system, a journey that took a total of 16 million years.
All in the name of fun, hope you enjoyed it.

The problem is that you went in an Asp. The shipyard won't show up unless you dock at the station in a stock sidewinder.

The new trick is to get there with a federal Corvette you'll get a maxed engineered special custom anaconda that has 2 huge hard points instead of 1.

Hutton orbital can take these 30 tonnes of superconductors straight from my cargo holds and take them as a suppository. I don't know who to hate more right now, but I am certainly checking the travel times to backwater stations from now on. Gonna save an hour by spending 30 seconds, that's for sure.

Nothing is ever free. And I realized not long after playing that those types of stations don't have shipyards. The tubes and orbs do as well as planetary bases. It's a free running joke

I cant remember where i got the mission from, but i managed to stack 2 worth 4.3 mill and 2.7 mill, not a bad payout really. If you've got housework to do while you wait then you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone!

if you mean on my trip to Hutton Orbital, I can't remember. If you mean by Exploration in general, I have currently made 2.8 Billion credits.

I got my 12 year old son with this trick a few months ago when he first started playing and getting into it. He was so excited. The game even crashed 40 mins into the trip. He started it again.... he got there about 30 mins later and came down with tears in his eyes handing me the controllers. I asked him what was wrong and he said, it wasn't true. I'm never playing again. And 30 mins later he asked me if I knew it wasn't real and I said yes, its a hazing for new players. I went through it too.. He suddenly said ok fine ill play again and he grinded his way to a real anaconda and is loving the game.

Ha Ha, it doesn't take that long and it's worth it just for the MUG! The one you get called for doing the journey. You are an even bigger mug though if you do it in a ship that requires a large docking bay, I have known people do it LOL

Even in 2023 this is a good old hoax. Think with me, the worst thing a newcomer could receive is a high tier ship for free. Think of the large amounts of credits for mandatory upgrades, weapons and armor. Not to mention the rebuy cost... Anyway, by now you should have reached elite rank and it's all just a memory.
