The only way to escalate this prank further, is to have a Ganker in an Anaconda that ambushes players with the ship name and player name of "Free Anaconda" when they arrive at Hutton Obital.. ;)
Recently upgraded from a Type-6 to a Type-7. Type-7 is not only ugly it's also incredibly slow and I even upgraded the thrusters to max. The Type-6 moved like a fighter jet compared to the Type-7. It still miss the Type-6 but sadly it just hasn't enough cargo.
I managed to get someone who had been playing since launch to fall for it since I was flying out here anyways as a rite of passage. It was hilarious to see the veteran get trolled by the noob
hutton staff be like: -- omg look, we've got another one. This is like, what, the third one this week? -- you'd think they'd eventually catch on, but no, they just keep coming -- ikr, if I had an Imperial shilling every time I got asked about free anacondas, I'd actually have enough to buy a REAL anaconda!
I think it would be nice if a bunch of commanders in anacondas went here to greet the new anaconda owners to the station. Just a bunch of anacondas flying around the station
Made it with First ship you get....made 500K + credit just from selling info on places i passed throu. . . So Cobra MK III here i go.....plus money from selling info on the way back🤔🤑🤑🤑
This must happen multiple times a day... I can't even hate... I fell for it wasted an hour and a half and yet the whole time I wondered why they would just make it so easy to get... Must be a backdoor a programmer left.. who cares... lol for fuuuuuuuuuuuuxx sake...
Hutton was a thing long before the reputable horse started playing Elite. Last time I went there was a few years ago on a community event in solidarity with one cmdr who took over 6 hours to get there because his internet connection was crap. We all got a conda obviously.
Yea ive heard since this happened, I had no idea about it until I seen his video pop up in my suggested and didn't think twice until I got there and checked online how I got it lmao.
I went for the sake of going there, I knew there was no free ship. i had showed up in an Anaconda and I didn’t know it was just an outpost so i couldn’t dock lol
The vid was lots of fun! This is what the game is all about - User Driven Content Welcome to being an Elite: Veteran. All veterans know the Truth about Hutton and encourage others to find out for themselves. Making the Dead horse dance was a great bit :)
I have a work mate who is on his way to Hutton for his free Anaconda when he gets back from Sag A. He's been playing since BBC micro and I still have that veteran convinced. I've been playing less than a year.
I knew there was no anaconda and still made the trip just for the curiosity of why this station is so damn far, I’m planning to sue the developers to have my 1 hour 25 minutes back to my life. If i ever get old dying in my bed and someone ask me what i regret in life i would say going to Hutton Orbital.
@@wisewisdomtooth the more I think about it the more I realise it was some stock song that came with the editing software… but I’d still take an answer whether I’m right or wrong !
I know this happened years ago but I just got into elite not even 4 months ago. I was tricked by my former squadron leader to go there. I was just a noob, at the time who didn't know better, the entire time I kept thinking this sounded to good to be true, and as right when I was 12 mins away, it occurred to me to do research, once I found out, I left the squadron, and didn't play this game for about a week. But now is all better on my own I became a billionaire and have both the conda and federal Corvette:D
Thankyou to all my new subscribers and viewers, if you like this video please subscribe to keep me motivated to make new content like this. The Elite community is amazing and without all of you these videos probably wouldn't exist, Thankyou!!!
My first trip to hutton I took on a job to bring 20 tons of I don't even remember what, but I know it paid out almost 5 mil creds and I had barely over a million creds at the time, not realizing why the payout was so much. That being said, it was a smooth run with good tunes playing and I made about 5 more hutton runs after that for some decent payouts. :D
@@redpillproductionscanada5563I took some crappy data courier job when I first started playing to Hutton. I think it was worth maybe 15K. I was well on my way to running out of gas by the time the Sidewinder touched the deck.
lol you should've done this run during the first community goal that happened back in the day. Mugs in real life were created for those that managed that first-ever time suck... oh, the memories
I flew out to Hutton Orbital twice just for kick's. I had over a billion credits the first time so I didn't need a free conda but I thought I would see if it was true or just a joke. The second time I bought a full cargo hold of the mugs to sell. LoL
i did the trip 2 times because i first arrived with a large ship and i couldn't land and you tell me that i did all of this for MUGS? I wasted 4 hours of my life for MUGS? Edit: They better be really really REALLY good mugs!
i almost fell for this when i first heard of it but figured it out that it was fake. but later that night i did a cargo run there and it took 2 hours and it was late so i napped on the way there.
Man whats the song title at the end of the video? That had me jamming I gotta know cause not even Shazam new the song 🤣. P.S. My first ever mission I took once outside of the beginner system Dromi was a mission to Hutton Orbital. It was my biggest mission payday at the time cause i was just running cargo and data missions. I learned that day that big paydays require fine reading cause they always involve high risk/long travel. So now I stick to mining 🤣.
