We usually check the evap coil cleanliness to ensure proper air flow and ALWAYS pull the blower and check the heat exchanger, only takes about 10 extra minutes. Those POS RHEEM units are notorious for cracks before the warranty expires. Would hate to overlook the one thing that could cause harm to the customer.

Damn I'm going to start videoing my clean and checks if this is the case. I wipe everything down and make it look new and do rust prevention. Test every electrical component to manufactures specifications. Pressure switches, gas valve pressure, transformer input and output, capacitors, blower amperage, test the flame rod and clean it with a wire brush. My customers LOVE my clean and checks, they always say, people never go in depth as much as you have.. I remember one customer being dumbfounded I actually removed the cage on the outside condenser for a cleaning lmao.. Before I started my own business I had worked for a company and customers always asked for me because I went above and beyond.

I was waiting for you to clock the meter. I wanna do all thfor every maintenance but you have to be able to charge appropriately you know?? Using measurequick work flow in cooling seems a lot smoother than the heating work flow

Im an HVAC tech of almost 10 years in New York and i want to move out if New York, would someone like me a NYer have a hard time acclimating to the changes in machinery vs Florida, Carolinas, Alabama. We dont put side discharge rooftop units on the ground like this, its an increible theory

I love your videos and appreciate them. Your smart, clean and professional but maybe show people that you at least soaped the union and performed a combustion analysis or checked the heat exchanger. Pretty important info to convey to your audience. Especially if people are watching to learn.

Do you do many heat pumps? If so what are your thoughts vs. gas? Up here in Canada we are being forced that way, our hydro costs a fortune and I'm concerned people won't be able to afford to heat with heat pumps.

I bet those chambers are shot Those Ruud units have been known to have round cracks around the backside where the tubes are fed. First thing I do is look for cracks otherwise all that work is a waste of time
