That’s a really useful video Abigail, I’ve learned a lot. You explain that the hyaluronic acid molecules don’t absorb , so do you think it would be best to apply a serum, let it absorb then apply a straight HA to get max benefit from each ?
thank you, So possibly yes, however these HY serums are great on their own, some of the hydration is what the upper layers of the skin needs, then the others which are multi molecular will be able to get in further. So instead of investing in 2 HY serums invest in 1 good one which has multi molecule size then go on with your moisturiser

I've heard that hyaluron is made from rooster combs. I am vegan and do not want to support such products. I think the idea of using rooster combs to treat my face is creepy. I have also heard that it is said to be counterproductive as the body's own production decreases when hyaluronic acid is used.
If you watch the video all the way through I cover this point. its quite old school to use rooster combs now the vast majority are vegan from a fermented source. And not it wont becounter productive, our HY levels reduce as we age, its part of the ageing process, replacing them is only a support

We LOVE to see it !!!!! You should start with the basics buy a face wash and try washing your face 1 time a day first... to ease into it... I’m going to give you the LAZY version and I have NO DEGREE in this lol I just have nothing else to do lol. (Also I’m going to leave all the fancy science behind it bc you have to learn what type of skin you have... and that’s a whole other thing in itself. Anyways let’s go “lazy” on this if you shower in the morning moisturize your face after the shower and at night wash your face with a face wash then moisturize. You can start by experimenting with neutrogenia night time face wash (it’s blue)and was gentle with my skin) then moisturize. If you shower at night buy the morning face wash and basically do the apposite of what I told you. At first I would over wash and I started to break out more... if neutrogena doesn’t work for you once your done with it switch!!!! It’s all about experimenting!! for face moisturizer you can start with products you can buy at Walmart (for now lvl beginner) like cera ve of aveeno or RU-vid face moisturizer and if one online interest you buy that..... anyways what I’m trying to say is that you need to learn those 2 steps as building blocks... once you find a face wash and moisturizer that works with you, you can get fancy and add products in between face wash------ face moisturizer Like FACE MOISTURIZER --(toner)--(eye cream for dark circles)--FACE MOISTURIZER And build your own face routine along the way I hope this makes sense also I didn’t check for grammar and just spilled out what was in my mind.
You can also wash twice a day if you have oily skin but I just said once a day to be on the safe side Akshskshskshskd I should go to sleep it’s never too late to start btw!!!

Linda, I hope you don’t mind I answer? I have been a holistic master esthetician for 35 years so your safe 😉 Vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid are fine together. Typically you would apply your vitamin C first and allow it to absorb and than I prefer you apply a moisturizer with hyaluronic Acid. Hope this helped. 🙌🏻🍑Lisa
yep I like them together. I prefer fer them as individual serums, so each of them is effective enough. However you do get a lot of active serums with some HY added as general to balance out the texture and impact on the skin
yes, actually this can happen! sometimes when HY is absorbing it can also feel quite sensitive if the barrier of the skin is impaired. This might be the case with your skin. maybe try a different brand, or put a HY serum to one side while you support the skin with other skincare
Hi plz guide me .i m using estee lader vitc serum and hyluronic acid .first i apply hyluronic acid then i apply vit c serum but i m not feeling any improvement in my skin .there are freckles on my nose.plz help me
so thats a nice combo of ingredients. you might look to try a more cosmecuitical range such as is clinical. but please bear in mind freckles on nose, no skincare product will get rid of them, they are freckles not sun damage
I usually apply a mist the In apply my serums.. but if u use both vitamic and HA.. make sure u apply the thinest first (vitamin c) so it can absorb better on your skin then u apply the hyaluronic acid thats the way it will work better.. because if u apply hyaluronic acid first it blocks the skin barrier not allowing the vitamin c to work properly) .. and after applying the serumsdont’t forget to apply the moisturizer to seal the moisture.
