First off, the location of this resort is just perfect. It's right in the middle of Sedona, which means you get stunning views of the red rocks from almost everywhere on the property. Whether you’re lounging by the pool or relaxing on your balcony, the scenery is breathtaking.
When we arrived, the staff greeted us with the warmest welcome. Knowing it was our 15th anniversary, they went above and beyond to make our stay special. We found a beautiful bottle of wine from a local vineyard, and a sweet anniversary card waiting in our room. It was such a thoughtful touch that made us feel really special and appreciated.
The Property: The resort itself is gorgeous and well-maintained. It feels like a mix between a luxury hotel and a cozy mountain lodge. The landscaping is beautiful, with lots of greenery and native plants that blend perfectly with the natural surroundings. There are also cute little paths and trails around the property, making it feel like a peaceful retreat.
Accommodations: Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a full kitchen, a living area, and a private balcony. The decor was stylish yet cozy, making it feel like a home away from home. We loved having our morning coffee on the balcony while taking in the stunning views of the red rocks. The bed was super comfy, and we slept like babies every night.
Amenities: The amenities at Piñon Pointe are top-notch. There are two beautiful outdoor pools, perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring Sedona. One of the pools has a hot tub and incredible views of the surrounding red rocks.
For those who like to stay active, there’s a fitness center and even tennis courts. Plus, there are barbecue grills and picnic areas if you want to have a cookout.
Activities: The resort offers plenty of activities for guests. There are also yoga classes, arts and crafts, and even wine tastings. We tried the wine tasting and discovered some delicious local wines.
Nearby Attractions: The location of the Hyatt Vacation Club at Piñon Pointe is perfect for exploring Sedona. You’re just steps away from shopping and dining at the Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village. We found some great souvenirs and enjoyed delicious meals at the nearby restaurants.
Sedona is known for its outdoor adventures, and the resort is close to many hiking trails.
The views are simply amazing, and we took so many pictures!
