Great video👍🏻 Thank you sharing all the details as this is so helpful since we will be visiting soon and staying at this hotel. We are so excited and looking forward to our stay at the HZ. What toiletries do they provide in the room as I don’t want to have to overpack my own if I don’t have to.
As far as resort owned complementary activities - I didn't see any. I think you will have to talk to the concierge to book those and most likely they will hook you up with a third-party. We reached out to a surf shop for some surfboards ourselves. They will deliver the boards to the hotel lobby for you. (surfing condition was very choppy for beginners in Nov when we went)
Cancun and nearby areas are generally very safe. however in Cancun hotel zone, once you step outside of the resort there isn't anything around. I would recommend Playa Del Carmen, if you want to walk around. They have beachfront all inclusive resort as well.
When we were there in December, they had red flags. So no. But if you walk down a little bit. You should be able to(at least without being yelled at), do be careful Bc the wave can be strong.
Not that I am aware of. If you are looking for bars and nightclubs within walking distance, Playa del Carmen is the place to be, and the all-inclusive that I love is Wyndham alltra Playa Del Carmen, not a huge property, but a great price in the heart of PDC.
