If you have not seen the Hyde Mill before, you may not think anything of this. Let me explain; after days of torrential rains Governor Walker declared a state of emergency for 17 Wisconsin counties, which includes the area of the Hyde Mill. On a "normal" day there is usually a 3 or 4 foot drop of water over the rock dam, and as you can see it is hard to tell a dam even exists. There is also usually a couple feet of clearance between the river and the bridge. This is just a short video showing the flood, but evening with the flooding and the road technically closed, this is still such a peaceful and beautiful sight. Thanks for watching.
