@@MegamanXfan21xx Earlier this year, the creator commented that the entirety of Area X is a teaser for a new project in the works. Could be a follow up to Rez, since he commented before that he envisioned a trilogy idea, with Rez as the first installment, Child of Eden as a spiritual successor (although supposedly a prequel to Rez), and Area X being "the closest thing to a new Rez". I'm definitely looking forward to the new game that's planned for the future, whether or not it ends up being a sequel to Rez or another prequel or something entirely new.
When I saw the preview vid in the ps store for rez infinity, I thought the people in it were tripping, when I saw gameplay footage I thought the game devs were tripping, after I played through both area x and the other one I want to play both again but this time, I'm the one tripping
yup - all kinds of this. Total addrenaline rush every time i hear it. I wish i could replay it all again because the first encounter with the larger "bit" enemy under VR is like a dance with a Jumbo jet. Incredible stuff.
yep why is it the alternate version of the endboss song? how to unlock it? but I am sooo damn happy I found this. what a great soundtrack! in VR this area x level is almost a spiritual happening! tnx mate!!
It's the second last layer where you fight against a blue enemy and a red enemy. Judging from the music uploaded, you killed the blue enemy first which ACTUALLY activated the alternative boss. To face the standard boss, just kill the red enemy in that layer instead of the blue one.
good point but I look at this way. albeit headcanon..... Eden took on a human form after having more potential recreated human personalities in cyber space after Lumi, thus giving Eden the form she has in Rez . HOWEVER Lumi's memories and personalities still remain a huge core within Eden for thats how she started. So while Eden has a new entire body with feature of her own and voice.... She now remembers as to what she started as, and will forever sing AS Lumi
You think you could share a FLAC or high quality MP3 version of this? I don't think the upcoming Rez Infinite soundtrack will have the exact version that plays in the game, like the Adam Freeland - Fear Area 5 song.
I'd rather not - at least not before the soundtrack is out, since I wouldn't want to hurt their sales. Maybe further down the road though, if no copyright holder disagrees with this upload in the first place.
Yeah, I'll live with it though. I did get a chance to listen to the official versions of the songs, and while those songs are more complete with full cheesy lyrics, I prefer the in-game version with minimal lyrics. I got my music fix so I'm happy!
@@ambersummer22 and Rez was based off of several electronic tracks from the late 90's. Point is each game has different musical styles and approaches to gameplay, so I was expecting Rez Infinite to sound more like the original Rez instead of its spiritual sucessor.
