@timtense At 02:00 minutes the process helps Aquatic life of the lake. Actually all that green is not grass it is a type of weed. This weed actually blocks the sunlight into the lake, slows down the dissolving of Oxygen into the lake from atmosphere eventually harming Aquatic life.

The green plants you see IN the water are hyasynth, an invasive plant. This used to cover the whole lake. As a result, the lake was not navigable and bad for fish and good for mosquitos. So the city is trying to remove it. Hyderabad is the Indian home to lot of big companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Oracle, Salesforce, Service Now, Pega, CA and Facebook etc.. Nice place, good food, lots of history, good infrastructure, friendly people and reasonably affordable.

Bonjour @Tim Tense i see you had enjoyed your stay in Hyderabad and i hope it was a memorable one. I've been to Belgium recently from Poland because i live in Poland. I really liked the Flemish part (Went to Antwerp Brugge and Gent) even though Brussels is a part of Flander region i didnt like it. First time i was in the Metro and i got robbed a chain worth 1200 Euros and now i always remember it when i think of Belgium but rest of the experience was good but you were in busiest of metro of your lifetime yet got of it safely i would be happy if you had only good experience there 😊
The plant in the lake is water hyacinth also known as “terror of bengal”. It’s an invasive variety which spreads really fast and absorbs most of free oxygen in water leading to death of fishes and other organisms. They create a brutal environment for any other vegetation like lilies to thrive. So yeah, removing it is necessary to preserve the lake’s and the regions biodiversity in general.

1:07 no it's not clean at all. Those are weeds that grown due to the high eutrophication in the water. The water is filled with sewage waste. The machine is basically cleaning the outgrown weeds.
Hey man pool with aquatic plants , not safe swimming. Because if you swim in such pool there is high chance of skin irritation or itching.That’s why they are cutting down. Anyway in such pool you will see more aquatic species…plants & fishes.
