Hi 915Mang Viewers- I wanted to clear up one thing from the video, the Seltz D Pumps are AC pumps. They are a hybrid design meaning they incorporate all the best of AC and DC technologies. Traditionally AC pumps will give you better energy consumption (when you measure both at 100% output). When you need to adjust down, AC will still operate at 100% wattage draw and DC will draw less wattage, so in a traditional situation when not operating a pump at 100% DC may give you better wattage draw. Because the Seltz D is hybrid design, when measured 100% output it is better energy consumption then competitors and because it is electronically controlled flow, the consumption goes down as you adjust the flow down. You will have an operating range of 30% flow to 100% flow over the 6 settings on the controller. AC will also give you higher head heights and run quieter and cooler then their DC competitors. Seltz D pumps are available in 3 sizes: Seltz D 1600, Seltz D 2400 and Seltz D 3200 GPH models. Thanks for watching!
Did they send this to you because you told them you're going to make a video? If so you would be very biased in giving a review on it. Normally people don't give shout-outs to manufacturers unless they got something for free. Or they were extremely pleased with it.
@@915Mang OK much respect you're one of the very few RU-vidrs that actually are straight up and admitted. You'd be surprised how many people never answer that question. Mad props to you that's why I subscribe. Also you did mention that they sent it to you but didn't mention for free.
@@fadetoblack.- I appreciate the sub. Cant go wrong with A DC Pump. I wanted it and Thats why I shouted them out. What return pump are you running. Have a good one. Look at my tank, I share everything thats good and bad.
@@915Mang I'm running some cheap Chinese return pumps. But I'm upgrading that's why I looked at your video. Running all SPS with very little LPS on the bottom tank has been set up for a year I haven't made a second video yet but I could show you the foundation
@@fadetoblack.- Hey thats fine! I ran a cheap cheap cheap return pump on my 180g It was ridiculous. But hey it worked. Ill look and check out your tank. Look at my latest video my sps are doing ok!
I have a verry bad review about them. I had the 6000 model and its make a horible noise like njnjnjnj Also the four screw at the back were already rusting after only one month of use. So i have a verry bad experience with them. The noise and also quality is in my opinion not so good. But maybe the pump was mall function from the factory don.t know but i can.t tell nothing positive about it.
