@@dudewecanfixit That's awesome! Me too!! 😀 I tried taking my cylinder apart a bit ago but I couldn't loosen the end cap with my gland nut wrench. It was too tight. Any suggestions?
@@dudewecanfixit I had the breaker bar on it. I thought about a cheater pipe but like you mentioned, I'm not sure I can keep the pins from slipping out if I use more leverage. I guess I don't have much choice though. I may spray some wd-40 on it and let it soak awhile. Not sure if it will help but I don't think it will hurt either. 🙏🙂
Thanks for the video. At 12:06 you mention hydraulics. Does this mean some tractors power steering runs on hydraulic fluid and shares it with the rest of the system?
Mine kept leaking out all the power steering fluid and then I couldn’t turn at all. I’m not sure if it is the same kit, and I don’t know a great place to cross reference. Maybe try Yesterdays tractors website. It’s so hard to find part information for older machines
Hi Jack Johnson, did you figure out your steering issue? I have a MF 50HX and the steering wheel will continuously turn around and around with not hardly moving the wheels. Just wondering if you fixed the issue and what was it?
I'll see if I can find it, but these parts are difficult to get part numbers for. If you have a local hydraulic shop, they usually have generic parts on the shelf that will work
@@dudewecanfixit I know the last guy asked but did you happen to find the part number for the seal kit. I'm pretty sure I have the same cylinder but I'm not really certain of the seal kits I'm finding will fit and I don't have a local hydraulic shop. Thank and Great video .
