Want to get a hydraulic winch for rear of mt kubota. Will a pump that attaches to your pto shaft work? Would it have the correct pressure the winch needs. I know ill have to make a fluid reservior with a filter on one of the lines. I have a front end loader on this tractor, could I have two hoses made going to a lift cylinder and a return but have a t connection on both and run the lines to the winch? Appreciate any help you give. Im new to tractors. I wanna get the proper winch so I can skid logs out to my future homesite. Gonna cut with my Woodland Mills 126.

Not as strong as this one, but sure powerful enough, faster, and if used right therefore more productive with the average log you haul much smaller than these. You get the cluch winch high on a pulley, pulling logs top off a trailer or into a collecting pile it sure is effective, logs almost flying, somewhat controlled ofcourse. Hydraulic is way more accurate, stops without going backwards and might even reverse controllably. Thats a safe way to do it. Also if you anchor that tractor this will either pull a tank or brake something big time. This thing has power to haul a car perhaps two or a truck from a ditch. No joke they use these in recovery vehicles.
