I would use to plow snow electric winch. It is cheaper, simpler to install. I do not need a second battery, just that the engine will be walking and you will be watching the voltmeter. Hydraulic Winch is only for extreme applications.
@jedkerKTM525 I'm not quite sure if you want to know how much can it pull, or how much does it weigh. A heavy Warn winch for a Jeep will weigh 62 Kgs. It can pull 5440 Kgs. There are heavier winches, and there are lighter as well.
If it is meters per minute,, and I'm sure your correct, why does it have a "B" after the "M" as it says 9,5 mb/min.? Also with the metric system why don't they use a decimal rather than a comma? Not being picky just curious.
Ooo yes, so the brake acts through the Valve control Oil Distribuitor from your cockpit, meaning that when the Control Handle is in the Middle position the hidraulic motor cannot turn Right/Left? anyway, Great Job! do you have more pictures with the assembly? (a web page that I can follow)
Yes, with the over-run valve you send 300psi to pay rope out. If there is a tiny leak in the motor the drum creeps out under full load. (Mine does and always has)
Do you think I can run that from the pump for my snowplow? The pump runs off of a belt.I like this better than electric because their is no second battery to carry. Also I do not need to mount a pto. I know the snowplow is very heavy, and the ram with no plow on can lift nearly half a ton.
I have a PTO mounted 5000 PSI pump it has a diverter valve that separates Plow piston from Winch and Char-lynn pump. I put a 12 volt solenoid operated valve to change directions of the flow. The plow system will pick up the front of my F-350 and the winch is set to almost break my 3/8 cable with a pressure regulated line. I had this system on a fan belt run pump. It was always slipping. Now it is fast smooth and very controllable.
I do not remember exactly, but it's a simple gear pump. nominally 160 bar 60 l / min. mounted in place of the air-conditioning compressor, with an electromagnetic clutch with a latch. P. S. I have the whole set for sale, it's like new, with the winch, hose, tank, pump, control
