This is the second video in a series of tutorial videos on how to create hydraulic bridges in Poly Bridge 2 that move where you want them. This continues from where the first video left off and shows how a controlled 90 degree rotation can move roads great distances. Check the comments for level codes to practice these concepts on.

Hey man your videos are so so good it is by far the best tutorial I have found on here. It is helping me a lot. How do you get the locking button when you are choosing the 1's and 2's for pivots. Pivots are so hard for me I know I am just missing a little key bit of info that is making me look at them the wrong way. I can't get a bridge to do two split joints on both sides, where one side it splits completely to go up and the other side it split joint but it stays in place and just pivots at an angle. Your videos are top notch my dude

The lock is secretly a 1. The lock only appears when you are making a split joint on an anchor (red joint). The game has to decide what joints get what numbers and "red joints are always 1" is a carry over from Poly Bridge 1 but now with a new symbol

As for pivot points, 9 times out of 10 you won't be pivoting at the joint you are splitting. The pivot is what you want to rotate around. If you remove the hydraulic, then the bridge should swing around the pivot.

IT GETS SO CONFUSING haha but this game is so fun and when I see people like you with your crazy contraptions it makes me happy I got into civil engineering and I'll be there soon. I know I am not dumb, and actually pretty decent at maths.... Still even with all the explaining, it is borderline magical. It seems to make sense, when you explain, but I don't know that I could do it without following along on the second screen....
