Baby seatcover is growing up let her know the braces are tepery but she will have a beautiful smile and when teeth are lined up they don't crack as much from to much pressure on them wishing her and the whole family and friends all the best for the future
I have friends that are die hard flip phone owners. So this was so funny 🤣 bravo for the breakthrough. I know this was 2 yrs ago but it was perfect morning chuckle.
Love your presentation style. Logical, precise, no jibber-jabber. Seat cover with her knife - perfect! Did not realize that has a SBC. Impressive (thought it was a BBC).
watching from mid wales in the uk ,that's a cracking old rig you've got there .keep it going to show the generations to come cars and trucks weren't always the plastic, technical junk they build ,sorry, throw together these days .been watching you for about 6 months now and love to see working trucks doing what they were built for. keep up the good work fella from the uk,
Finally someone like myself. I was forced to upgrade my phone because 3G went away last year. Now I got this thing I don't even use like it's supposed to be. They laughed at me when I went into the store.
Gotta love the taste of hydraulic fluid! I agree, eating dinner is more important than painting the parts; because there's a lot more work, after the parts are painted.
Nice explanation on what you are doing Eric. Stay safe and healthy. At around the 22 minute 5th grade math question you lost half an inch. 16-21 3/4= 5 3/4 divide by 2 is 2 7/8 so you wanted 18 7/8 not 18 5/8. I just ate dinner, you still had not.
Many thanks for sharing, great vid! I hope your improvements will pay off! Very good to see that this old lady seems to be indestructible. I'm looking forward to see her working in the woods again! And congratulations for finally using a smartphone!
Oh that poor child. Mine was 12 when she got hers. Pretty bummed out about it but they get used to them. She is 26 now and after thousands of dollars she has a perfect smile just like little miss seat covers will have. Hang in there sweetheart they will be off before you know it....
On the ram assist clamp. It might be worth putting a couple of weld beads either side so it can't slide on the trail. Hope Abby doesn't need braces for too long.
good stuff!!!!! the only problem with going to the shop on the weekends is not only do you not make money it always costs money!!!!!! and your still at frigin work!!!!!!!!
The Frankentruck still has misc. organs from the previous donor frame. This should solve your steering issues. Looking forward to the trial run. Hi to the BSF family.
Something to keep the clamp from sliding add 2 large tack welds outside the edge of the clamp but not welding the clamp to the tie rod. the clamp will slide there is up 4000 lbs of force being applied to the tie rod via the ram Also make sure the ram bottoms out before or right at the steering stops your stock knuckles will thank you. The ram will keep moving until it bottoms out or something else gives. If you can't adjust the ram to make it bottom out you can add washers on the shaft to have them bottom out of the back side of the jamb nut to the body of the ram that is easier than tearing a cylinder apart to cut a spacer
I feel for you with the DAMN smart phone. So far i got mad at one and ran it over with my 18 wheeler, it was not smart enough to get out of the way. In your last video, great work with the power steering pump. The last power steering pump I did was a pain in the bxlls. It was on a 1985 Chevy C-10, using cheap tools (what I could afford). The right tool, for the right job.
My grandfather had A68I believe shitty believe Chevy that had that brake lock system on it it came from the carolinas it was used to pull right Poles up the mountains. What's a pretty cool system like he said you just push the panel flip the switch and that sucker wasn't going nowhere. Brighten my heart that we slipped up and sold that truck wish to God I still had it but it there was a 3/4 ton short bed skip side 354 barrel with a bulldog Fucking hopes you could not stop that truck I truck I saw it pull a digger up the knobs in my area with the front tires off the ground my grandad will let off the gas just enough to let the front tires touch get it pointed the right direction and just get right back in it...
The army wreckers have a micor break lock switch inside the cab and they push on it as there push pressure on the petal as well and they can shift the transfer case to neutral then shift transmission to the gear that you need to do the recovery
Cool i was in the need of a decent corded grinder and Amazon back during the summer was running a deal on the metabo hpt series i think it is medium sized grinder comes with 4 grinding discs and a hard plate case $36
The guy on the channel NOT FOR HIRE uses a shovel to get the tires on the hubs the way you use your pry bar. Just in case someone doesnt have a pry bar as long as yours. ;)
I’d love to be able to fit a cylinder type hydro-assist steer on my truck, but here in Romania it’s not permitted to “tamper” with the manufacturer’s design of the vehicle. It drives me crazy, I can’t have auxiliary lights, and technically, my lifted suspension, higher rated springs, and bigger tyre size are all illegal. The traffic police have the power to immediately cancel the registration if they choose to (for these “offenses”) and to get technical approval of such changes needs a declaration from the manufacturer (in my case Toyota) that the changes will not affect the safety of the vehicle, which of course Toyota would never give, for liability reasons. It’s a real bummer. Good job Eric (and assistants) ❤️👍🏻🇷🇴
I did the same. Wearing glasses from 2 years on and grinding etc without safety goggles. But there are never good goggles to be found fitting over glasses. 67 now and only 2 times had to clear my eyes. So for the ones commenting of this: put an link to an safety unit that works. Ps eric. Sorry for the loss of your phone. Those old ones did a better job being a simple phone. Honey do you have a new aftershafe??😉😉😉
It's getting there, should be a whole lot less prone to damage when it's done. I think I noticed some play in the right ball end of the drag link when you were testing the tie rod.
Hey Eric !! I hate the "NEW"" flat screen phones too !! So went to "C/C" which is ATT & got 1 of their flip phones which is a 4G !! The "OL"" ATT flip that I had couldn't be updated to 4G so it had to go too !!
I just got rid of my flip phone last year Eric!!! My wife bought me new phone. I don't know if new one is smart phone but have to ask grand kids how to use it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hey Eric !1 Great job with the steering ,but are those spring U-bolts bottomed out on the threads as that is what happened B/4 when you were on the trail & lost the rear springs & Center bolts snapped off ??? Have a good week & thanks for the video updates !!
I'm jealous. I couldn't do high steer on my truck... Also, you want the hydraulic ram to bottom out and act as the steering stop. It will bend stuff till it bottoms out other wise.
I have too much lift and require a spacer between the nuckle and high steer arm for the crossover. Makes it weaker, so it is better not to put the extra force on it of the tie rod also.
I like how ya gave it a good pull after the beep Eric, lol, have you ever finally found something after looking for it a long-time, in a place that you know had already been searched?, I think one of them is messing with ya Eric, they secretly laugh while watching you search, Eric, you may just need to split a MF'ers wig, lol, just trying to get ya going buddy, that stuff happens to the best of us, thanks for sharing guys.
16 to 21 3/4 is 5 3/4 not 5 1/4. Half of that is 2 7/8. Not that it matters since your bracket is adjustable. Your helper needs to go back to math class though. LOL
The brake lock system. I use to drive an International that had a lever for the brakes. You step on brake and move lever up and it sets the brakes. Is that basically the same?
my brother said he'd never get a smart phone etc either, but his carrier also informed him it would no longer work the end of Jan...so he's got an Iphone 13
Flip phones are simple,no email alerts or social media ones too, just look up the contact and hit send and close the phone when the convo is over,w today's technology you can't win lol
