The rubber is called a gasket not plate. As I understand it is made of two 3mm rubber gaskets with 150T silk screen in between those gaskets. My question is, can those silk screen separators be able to isolate hydrogen and oxygen gases at higher pressure?
Gasket - the black flexible material in the video, Membrane - the silkscreen sandwiched between the gaskets. Stainless Plate - the metal plate that served as electrodes (anode + and cathode -). Nylon plates - two of this, served as clamp for the stack of gaskets, membranes and metal plates. It also served as entrance for distilled water and exits for hydrogen and oxygen gases.
This setup won't work, it will produce mixed gas. ripstop, silkscreen, felt material all won't work, when water can pass thru the material nano bubble gas also can pass through, and the water hole not insulated, holes edge will produce mix gas.
This cell can not work and will not seperate the gas. I have build one with the same setup and parts. There are points where the Gas get mixed. Look at the points where the gasket is closed. Sure it closed the positive side by the negative side, but the hole is not complete isolated. A small part of the iron-plate is in touch with water or gas water mix between gasketclosed side1 and gasketclosed side2. At this points the other Gas will produced and you get HHO again.
Great video tq. however, Isn't the wires you are using for both pos/neg plates too thin? can they carry 20A? 2nd question the nylon membrane 150 thred/sq.in? Tq
@@kaka_kaka28 HO? HO is an Ion and only exists in aqueous solution. When you split water you have 2 H2O ---->O2 + 2H2 With the 2 infront referring to how much it is and the two on the end like O2 that it's a diatomic molecule. So it's made from two oxygen atoms for example.
can I ask you a question please. what is the name of the film you put inside the stainless steel plates that I want to buy and I can not find it anywhere?
what for neutral plates? isn't it better just to use negative and positive instead? in that case you will have more voltage, or there is smth that I don't understand? what is your international phone code, whats up can't find this number
Good question, the membrane exists so electrolyte can pass but traps each gas to its own cell, im going to think more about it, and try to remember to get back to you.
I got a nylon. Good separates the gases, but only when it's tight. Can you make diktunga in a membrane cluster, according to its dimensions, and how much would it cost? The panels are 200 x 100 mm, dictators with a width of 8 mm, thicknesses of 2 - 3 mm. the gas holes are fi 8 mm, the center of the hole is 10 x 10 mm o d edges on all four ends
