Hi Sir recently I have suffered from Hydronephrosis . Now I got know clearly about the causes really super explanation . Who have got little bit knowledge about the kidney structure and function those persons also can easily understand. Please keep on do more videos Sir.
Thank you for explaining this. I have an obstruction that may require surgery. The doctor said that I may have had this condition since birth and we found it by doing other tests for pain I was having in my back. I will know a little bit more on my condition before I meet again with my doctor thanks to you for posting this information.
@@lorgio1989 No. I still have no idea why I have an enlarged kidney. My insurance changed and I just haven't been back. I have ZERO trust in the medical industrial complex at this point.
Thank you for your video sir. For some time I have been having a stent placed/relaced in my left ureter. This was done for hydronephrosis. Also I had a 5mm stone which I removed myself when I accidentally pulled out the stent on one occasion! At my last stent change I mentioned symptoms were persisting on the right side though the previous scans were negstive. However an ultrasound has now revealed hydronephrosis on that side too and a stent was inserted. It may be of interest to you that I have had a urostomy since 1968 as I am a myelomeningocele
Dear sir, thanks for sharing such a valuable information, my two year son is suffering from Hydronephrosis, i request your suggestion, what better can we do to cure it without surgery, can you please help me.
thank you for that..dont you think my proteinuria is due to hydronephrosis? I was diagnose by that tru a cT scan last Dec 2020 and yet the urologist said to just come back after 6 months if the condition still persists he will put a stent. He just did not care about the extent of the serious damage that hydronephrosis can do at that moment. Now Im experiencing albumin in my urine as it is bubbly and foamy. Dont you think I should have approach a nephrologist rather than a urologist? Please advise me Sir. Thank you.
@@Neha34843 all my kidney functions are normal even albumin and protein excretion based on my latest lab results.. no idea why it is still foamy.. furthermore, a urologist has inserted a stent on my kidney coz my ureters are kinky and of course there is a presence of hydronephrosis.. ill be going back to him again this october after 6 months for follow-up check up.
My 1.5 months old son diagnosed with mild hydronephrosis and gross hydropelvis in left kidney. Doctor told to do diuretic renogram. He said that vain connecting kidney and bladder might be compressed. Surgery may or may not be required. Does it give any problem in future? Is it safe to have surgery at this low age?
My ct scan kub report impression is that bilateral prominent distal ureters - likely secondary to grossly distended bladder . Suggest any treatment for me
Sir my son suffering from toungh alsar, small small patches on tongue. Fever vaste automatically patches on tongue, age 3 and half, solution cheppandi please sir
How could it be resolved without surgery,I have the same problem on right kidney. It is mild and asymptomatic and visited the doctor for 2 times again he said to come after 6 months
I had bad hydronephrosis as well and underwent a surgery and needed a stent placed in. Pregnancy can be another cause of hydronephrosis because the baby is literally peeing inside of you, I would definitely go to the doctor and check on that because pregnancy can exacerbate the issue
Hydronephrosis occurs in pregnancy is usually physiological, meaning that once you deliver the baby, it will resolve within about 6 weeks. Anyway, you may consult a urologist for further information.
I have b/L mild hydronephrosis with dilated b/L renal pelvis as well as puj obstruction, should I go for surgery or is there any medication to resolve this problem.
I had a lathroscopic surgery done in 2017 to relieve this in my right kidney. They want to see me for a follow up soon which was news to me. I was never told in 2017 I would need to be seen again. Should i be concerned? I’ve also had chronic lower back pain ever since the procedure and I this pain may have been mis diagnosed... any advice? I’m 26 if that helps I had surgery at 23
My advise is, at first you may visit the follow up session. Then, tell them that tou have been suffering from this back pain since the surgical treatment. No need to be worried. Just get to know what thet have to say.
@@nancymortel5610 The treatment of hydronephrosis actually depends on the underlying cause. You should ask from your doctor about the subsequent procedure. If the patient has to undergo a surgery, the cost would be a bit high. But, if it could be resolved without surgery, it will not be much expensive.
My 1 month male baby suffering from bilateral hydroureteronephrosis with pelvic APD 26 mm on left ..APD 12 mm on right side..is surgery needed for this case...or it be cured with medicine
