As a dermatologist, if you are double cleansing in the shower, make sure you aren't using physical and/or chemical exfoliants for both cleanses, and you should really only be exfoliating your body (ie. Using a loofah) once or twice a week. It's also not needed for your whole body. Try just to double cleanse the back of your neck (a bit more optional), armpits, bellybutton, groin, and feet. It's just too much for the rest of your skin otherwise. You might create microtears in the protective barrier which will allow more bacteria to enter the skin and potentially cause breakouts, drying, or premature aging. If you are still having trouble with body odor, especially under the armpits, see a dermatologist. Some people just have higher bacterial loads under the arms that need to be treated with a topical antibacterial ointment to really knock the smell and bacteria out. Over-cleansing, especially if it's to the point of irritation, is not the answer and will make the problem worse. You always want to choose the most gentle option possible.
definitely good advice on the phys exfoliant, i noticed when i switched to using a reg rag/wash cloth 5/7 days and the african shower net 2/7 days of the week my skin got so much better
@@Navi405 I don't have strawberry skin, but I exfoliate with sugar and grapeseed oil (I add some castor oil in the winter when my skin is drier). My skin is prone to drying out and I have rosacea, so this method helps lift dirt and dead skin without inflaming my skin. Might work for you?
To eliminate Lipoma lumps- exfoliate body/ scrub few times a wk and moisturiser each day. Drink water keep hydrated- avoid drinking ANYTHING AFTER FOOD plz to protect heart.
Hey I have a question, for you, I am acne prone, am I supposed to scrub my face with my loofah hard, or what? I really don't know how to clean my face 🙁😩😩
Helpful tip: When you double cleanse, use an antibacterial soap (like black soap) the first time around, then use your nice smelling soap the second time around. GAME CHANGER😄
Also when ever you have a cold or terribly Ill, clean up as soon as you can. Change toothbrush, sterilize you tongue scrapper, wipe down surfaces and change sheets, towels and also change cups every 30mins to avoid recontamination. I do these everytime I’m sick and in as soon as 24 hrs I already start feeling better.
Not exactly "hygiene stuff", more like health-care-ish, but when you get that weird (usually in the morning) feeling in your neck, scratchy and uncomfortable, do not hesitate. Boil some water, pour it in a cup and then add cold water - to make it warm, not too hot to be uncomfy. Put salt in it (you try how much, some people tend to gag, but it isn't supposed to taste good tho :Dd), mix it well and then gargle thoroughly, spit out... It's sterilizing. You repeat it several times a day (when you already have some salt water mixed in your cup, you do not need to reheat it, the temperature was important mostly for the dissolution). If normal salt is too aggressive, there is a special alternative - at least in my country, you can buy gargle salt in every pharmacy:)
Okay, so I did some research on Oil Pulling, for those who do not know what it is oil pulling is a practice supported by dentist for just overall oral hygiene, in the morning when you wake up before you eat, drink, and brush your teeth, you would get a tablespoon amount of olive oil, coconut oil, or sesame oil and swish it around your mouth for about 15-20 but 30 max depending on how much you oil pull. It is recommended to do it everyday to improve oral hygiene, and get rid of any bacteria, and helps with saliva, and other things in your mouth! After your finished you would spit it out (DO NOT SWALLOW ANY!) then you can continue on your normal routine and brush flause, brush your teeth, and use mouth wash.
Deodorize from within as well!! Getting 3 cups of leafy greens a day, avoiding processed foods when you can, drinking plenty of water will do so much for you too!! ♥️
So true. I find it hilarious that these girls and young women think that you have to do all of these different things outwardly for hygiene - I mean of course shower and wear deodorant, but you can be the cleanest person outwardly and if you still fill your body with junk, you're going to smell bad when you sweat, etc. Being clean from the inside out is where it's at.
I can attest to this. There was a point in my life where I ate healthy ‘cause I was trying to balance my hormones and lose weight. Salads here and there. Ate cruciferous vegetables, drank water with lemon and mint (no colored drinks). I swear, even if I sweat, I don’t smell at all. I don’t even deodorize my underarm(the most sweatiest area of my body 🤮) it doesn’t smell!
1. Replace your toothbrush every 3 months 2. Wash your body, rinse it off, then wash AGAIN and rinse off 3. Put a tiny bit of apple cider vinegar in your bath tub and soak in it (20-30 mins) 3b. White vinegar in your laundry 4. Oil pulling 3-4 times a week (oral hygiene practice before you eat or brush in the morning) 5. 6. Witch hazel without alcohol behind your ears, inside of knees and elbows, arm pits, butt, other crevices 7. Wash hair weekly for curly hair, clean scalp, condition, take your time (she puts perfume in her hair) 8. Change socks and undies daily, bra 3 days 9. Reapply perfume, deodorant, body spray throughout the day 10. Prioritize your hygiene and personal care
Im so so glad i found this video! I come from a mentally ill and disabled family and i myself am mentally ill and disabled so no one in my family was ever taught how to really care for ourselves bc the prev generation didnt know either! Im hoping that this helps me break that cycle in my family, and thank you for posting it
I'm in a similar situation. make sure to never be hard on yourself if you have days you forget or don't have the energy to do much, altho sometimes physical self care can make you feel better too :) I've been starting small like having a minimal skincare routine and now I'm getting into hair care and looking forward to trying out other stuff to look/feel my best!
Sounds like you are already doing it. I actually came from a non mentally ill loving home, but wasn't taught properly about hygiene either. Like using mouthwash and washing your hands after using the bathroom. So you are not alone.
Be careful putting perfume in hair. It has alcohol and bad ingredients that your hair does not need. If your hair is dry, damaged, and/or more prone to frizz and breakage, it will make it worse.
noticed this. i always apply perfume to the back of my neck than my hair. stays longer, doesn't damage my hair, leaves a trail of my perfume when i walk. i use oil based perfume (oud in the middle east) and applying it in the right spots is so important. i spritz some on the back of my neck, inner elbows, neck, and on my chest. all the hot spots basically, the more heated parts of my body so it sticks. i also try to apply my perfume to my clothes more than my skin so i don't get dry skin.
A good idea would be to use perfume oils instead since it's oil-based. It's safe for the hair and the scent will last longer than a perfume. My shop sells them if you are looking for safe scents to put in your hair.
there are some hair mists that you can buy, a lot of brands sell hair mists with the same excent as EDP or EDT and they are usually cheaper than the normal perfumes
Omg I consider myself a hygiene guru because I’m soooo passionate about it too! In high school I used to always think I smell bad because back then my deodorant didn’t work for me. None did. It wasn’t until I discovered natural doe that something worked for me, and I still make my own demo to this day. Your tip about double cleansing…. Why didn’t I think of that before?! Gonna do that now because sometimes I still have a slight smell under my armpit after showering . Will try using glycolic acid under there too. As for the reapplying tip, that’s a good one. I went out last Saturday and the sun was so hot I was sweating. Wish I had my deodorant (it’d just melt tho oof) to freshen up when I went to the bathroom. But I had to make do with my antibacterial wipes . Another tip I’d recommend is using dove sensitive deo between your thigh crease (game changer! I found this one on Reddit and it really eliminated the sour ish scheme from my crotch when I sweat, esp when I have hair down there), applying hand sanitizer before deodorant and using a peri bottle or water to briefly wash the vagina after peeing or pooing then use a tissue to lightly pat yourself dry. Hygiene is so important to me. I don’t ever want to be perceived as someone who smells
Oh heyyy what we eat also affects our odor so doing natural body detoxes helps a lot tumeric is a good one. Also in the Caribbean our parents would rub lemon under our armpits and that helped as well.
@@randomvidz4955 Oh, I use lemon too (I'm from Brazil) I also like to exfoliate making a mix of lemon and baking soda (but plz, do this at night, and clean it really well.)
these are getting passed on to my kids for sure. thank you!! as someone who grew up in a household with mentally ill family who never learned or taught this sort of thing it means so much.
Hi, as a Brazilian, I feel that I must inform you about the hygiene routine of our culture inherited from the indigenous people. In Brazil we have the custom of sanitizing ourselves three or more times a day. In the morning, as soon as we wake up, we shower, brush our teeth and get ready (We are always using perfumes, deodorant and skin creams), in the afternoon and at night. Parents, or teacher, teach this at school. Phrases like "Don't go to bed without taking a shower and cleaning up the dirt from the street." It is common that we take a shower before leaving the house, even if your last shower was 3 hours ago, and when we return home we take another shower to clean ourselves up. Brazilian hygiene is something so serious that we tend to judge people who only take a shower or brush their teeth once a day. Additional note on the hygiene routine: Body/skin: despite two or more baths a day, only one of the baths is a thorough cleaning, the other two baths are more like a relief from the tropical heat of the country. Washing consists of washing, with a soap of your choice, all over the body. Hair: in Brazil, hair routines are something really popular, and the number of times we wash our hair a day or week depends on the person's routine. (I wet it once a day and wash it every other day). Not to mention the waxing and: Cleaning Nails: having nails cut and clean and manicured is also something we are taught. But not everyone cares about that. Teeth: We brush our teeth when we wake up and before going to sleep (we are educated about that), not to mention people who always brush after a meal.
Speak for yourself. Not all brazilians takes 3 showers a day. That’s too much, makes the skin super dry. I’m from Brazil, showering once a day, that’s all.
Actually showering that much could cause a super dry skin (especially if you already have a skin issues for instance Eczema) plus c'mon we should seriously consider the world's limited water resources. Some people literally go crazy amount of kilometres to get a dirty water while other people from other part of Globe do this...
Brazilian here, I shower twice a day! Even in Europe ! I can’t stand going to bed dirty from the day I just had, besides I use my last shower for aura cleanse etc!
The best way to double cleanse is using an oil cleanser as your first cleanser. I use it on my face, armpits, and back. It helped reduce my body acne and, for sure, makes your armpits cleaner.
Sweat does not cause odor. It is the bacteria that eats the sweat that will cause odor. Use something like a benzoyl peroxide wash under your arms for a few minutes will kill that bacteria. Using an exfoliating acid like glycolic acid also helps because it creates a lower pH environment where bacteria can't thrive, but be careful about using these things everyday so you're not overexfoliating.
@@crystalsnow9069 if you're asking about the exfoliating acids, apply it on clean, dry skin (basically after showering, whenever that is for you). You'd use it a few times a week as your skin can tolerate it. I'd mainly suggest using the BPO wash for bacteria removal, it's what has worked for me best!
I think it's a good thing to be hygienic and not stink to prevent illness and social isolation and am very greatful for the energy you put in this video. Nontheless I would like to add, that people in the western world are quite obsessed with being odorless/ killing all the bacteria/ect. nowadays. Humans smell human. You don't have to smell like Chanel all day everyday and it's not natural to be completely odorless.
completely agree. If you keep your hygiene, you don't really need perfume, especially to reapply it. People don't want to smell you from a distance. A subtle scent of perfume is all a clean girl needs. It's classy and sensual. More than that seems like trying to cover up bad smell.
i love you for this, sometimes hygiene just isn’t taught and it’s just assumed that you should know this stuff. I never considered changing out my toothbrush (until it got to the point of looking like it was ran over) and now i’m ordering the interchangeable toothbrush that you described. and all of these tips are so helpful ‼️
Toothbrushes can be stuck in boiling water for a bit to decontaminate as well! There isn't a need to waste your money and add more plastic to the landfill. Save your money.
girl you came in clutch with those under arm tips. growing up ive had the worst sweat and BO under my arms and its made me so self conscious that i began wearing black every single day. Ill be trying some of these in hopes it helps.
ive heard the glycolic acid by the ordinary has helped others a lot with any under arm odors!! i'd also look into stronger deodorants, i always use a roll on deo because the spray really just doesnt work for me, so i think that could help. good luck!!
Yep growing up I used to sweat so much under arms and it was due to my sweat glands being out of control. I even had to get botox underneath a few years ago which helped with slowing down the under arm sweating. Now that I'm older I don't sweat as much anymore. Same as you, I would wear black shirts to hide the sweat.
Also keeping your environment clean! I make sure to deep clean my bedroom, change bedsheets, clean headboard and mattress regularly. It’s helped with clearer skin, and overall feeling clean
Hey girl, thank you so much for this video, extremely useful and researched. I just had a comment: if you manage to merge your passion for hygiene (which can help MILLIONS of people feel more confident, and in turn be happier) WITH eco-friendly products, you are golden. There is so much waste and horrors going on, and I am desperate to find a REAL influencer who can give tangible advice on how to be hygienic to your level, but also as close to zero waste as possible. It doesn't have to be perfect but ygm. I really believe that if you could focus on that specific mix, you could be one of the most influential people in the whole hygiene sector. And I, and others trust me, would be absolute super fans.
The white dial antibacterial soap really helps with ordor underneath your arms and of course your whole body, benzoyl peroxide helps with odor, and (proceed with caution) tend skin helps with razor bumps and ingrowns
Just wanted to come back to this video a month after watching & changing my routine a bit to say .. oil pulling & double cleansing have def been game changers for me ! ALSO, something mentioned in one of her other videos .. using a unscented/gentle face wash and microfiber towel for the downstairs area 👌🏾👌🏾 THANK YOU
Put witch hazel on a q-tip and clean the inside of you ears. NOT like down by the ear deumbs and stuff but the inner outter ear area. It prevents blackeheads from developing there. I also clean the inside of my belly button with q-tips with witch hazel
Flossing is essencial for oral hygiene! Even after washing your teeth you would be surprised to see how much tartar and residues are still between your teeth. Till you get a hang of it it will take quite some time but after the adaptation phase it's relativelly quick. A trick that I do is to floss first and brush my teeth after, that way it's more likely that I do it. I learned how to floss correctly with this video: What most people don't know- FT. Quip Floss (by Living Rosa channel)
Me realizing I have elite hygiene as I check off all the list. The only thing she didn’t mention that I would also suggest is make sure your eating green veggies daily, they are like a internal deodorant.
3:07 my papa would always force me as a child to drink apple cider vinegar. He would also never buy me anything other than water and my lunch was always one avocado, etc.but now that I'm older I am grateful for my papa being so strict with me.
another tip!!!! if your sweat smells even after applying deodorant try exfoliating that area. dead skin cells clog your pores and keep the odor & germs so using a gentle(!) exfoliant like salicylic acid might help reduce it. after taking a shower, I usually apply it overnight on my armpits and wash it off the next day, followed by a deodorant. but do it once a week or two to avoid irritation
Great video. You provided some good tips. I’m going to try that apple cider bath and the witch hazel in the summers. One tip I have to offer is chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is a natural deodorant. It cleans from within. My family had that sick smell coming from their pours after being sick and I made them drink a teaspoon a day inside iced tea for about a week and the smell went away. This process also helped my smelly teen.
The toothbrush tip is great - electric is best! But the vagina is self-cleaning and OB/GYNs will tell you that the (very sensitive) vulva only needs water. You can also use a mild soap like Dove with water if you prefer. If you're having odor, it's probably an infection that needs a prescription.
There's a plenty of products for female hygiene containing lactic acid and good ph, they are OK for the vulva zone, but shouldn't be used too frequent. Especially good when on periods. I can't imagine how should I wash there only with water through these days.
wow sara you had really helpful tips! i am also someone who has to reapply deodorant and sweats a lot :( BUT, one point I do have to make is to NOT spray perfume in your hair! It actually damages you hair and as an alternative you can use hair mist :)
Started following these tips little by little since August and this video has changed my hygiene for the better. Like I’ve seen the fastest improvement in my skin than any other things I’ve tried before double cleanse, witch hazel, everythingggg. Thank youuuuu!
Wipes are 1.0, 2.0 is BIDET! And Lume yes. I also put deodorant on my thighs when wearing a dress or skirt to prevent chafing and keep the fresh scents flowing!
Another note: if you want your perfume smell to last longer, put it on when your body is still tacky or damp from moisturizer. Another tip, a small travel spray of an odor blocker/eliminator like Febreze in your purse in case your clothes need a midday pickup.
Also! Watch what you eat! Eating like too oily, suggarish and junk food could probably increase the bad smell on your body. I’m not saying u can’t eat that typa stuff, just balance ur diet! And eat fruits especially if they have a high percentage of water! They help i swear. Stay cleaaannn x
I switched to aluminum free deo so long ago but recently I've begun to notice how much I sweat all over my body. Because my baseline hygiene and diet is good my sweat doesn't smell bad its just the amount I'm concerned with. I step out in heat close to 90 degrees and its almost instant. I think i'll go back to anti-perspirant just to avoid the embarrassment.
I also don't get irritations, but I am trying to use the aluminium free one cause I kept hearing/reading that the other one is not healthy long term. Considering trying different brands cause the current one isn't always working for me. Reapplying does help, but not if I do it when it's too late. Or maybe following other tips that I can find.
2:02 Another tip for odor for underarms is to use PanOxyl, or any benzoyl peroxide wash. Leave it on for a few minutes like you would a mask. Then rinse. It helps to remove that bacteria. Be careful though as I can bleach clothing if you do not rinse it properly.
These are great tips! I actually love to double cleanse because I just feel like my face is much cleaner and fresher when I do that. I am able to get the top layer of makeup off and then finish it with an extra cleanse. Makes a huge difference! Love this video, thanks for sharing! ❤
In addition to brushing and flossing, I found that my water flosser really elevated my dental hygiene. I was so alarmed to still see debris come out even after properly brushing, flossing and using mouthwash.
I oil pull every morning! The amount of time varies- usually around 5 minutes, but more if I can. Def makes a HUGEEE difference in how your breath smells.
tip for oil buildup in hair: mix a little bit of baking soda in with shampoo after you squeeze some out into your hand and scrub the oil buildup area- (a tip from my hair stylist) i use this, and it works!
When i first saw ur video i was like ow she looks like ETHIOPIAN and when i checked out ur name i was super happy that u actually are from mother land ❤ keep it up ur just great
Panoxyl (benzoyl peroxide) in the armpits will get rid of a lot of the stink in your armpits when you sweat. I notice when I don’t use it, the smell will start to come back 😭 I’m looking for a natural alternative but ik for sure it works. I just wash my armpits with it after washing up in the shower
I use a regular wash towel for the first cleanse, and an exfoliating one for the second one. It leaves the skin extra soft and when applying moisturizer, it helps soak in better.
1.Dove antibacterial body wash smells amazing! 2.Papaya bar soap will get you and your deodorant clean on the first wash-it’s crazy! But also drying so be sure to apply lotion! 3.There’s also antibacterial lotion if you’re extra sweaty in the summer. 4.Don’t eat before brushing your teeth because of acid. Your mouth is more acidic after eating which is why you want to wait 20-30 minutes so you’re not brushing your teeth in an acidic environment that will erode enamel 4. Sea salt baths to rebalance body pH.
Double cleansing really helps, especially with the deodorant and the skin, if u use body lotion and sunscreen. Thanks for the oil pulling tip. 1st time hearing about it🤗
Ty babe for the tips. Apple cider vinegar is great for a lot of feminine purposes. 🫶🏽💗Some of these tips I have been trying. Also, you can incorporate clean your tooth brush in hydrogen peroxide to disinfect it. There’s actually research on it.
Thanks for sharing your finds. I have the Phillips toothbrush with a sanitizer (that I use weekly). I will look into the circular style. I also love using a water flosser. I double cleanse my face with an oil blend, followed by cetaphil for sensitive skin (I have eczema.). My two hygiene finds: 1) Honest sensitive wipes. I alternate using these with a dedicated cloth to cleanse after using traditional tp (to stay fresher). I also use these to wipe off sweat so bacteria doesn’t linger. 2) I love a kessa mitt (used in traditional Moroccan/Turkish bath houses) - It’s my refined twist on my traditional double cleanse routine. I get wet, lather up a bath puff & wet the kessa (no soap on the kessa), turn off water, use the lathered puff, then follow with scrubbing with the damp kessa (first time users, be gentle) and rinsing. It exfoliates very well, even heels. There are plenty write-ups on it.
You can replace clothing softner with thr vinegar! Softner builds within your washing machine and clogs up the insides. It also sticks to your clothes and can irritate your skin and scalp. It is also hydrophobic so it will make your towels less absorbent. Skip it altogether!
I use Schmidt! Ooooh child I struggled to find a deodorant that worked for me until I discovered them. I actually saw this girls video on RU-vid about using it. The Rose Vanilla one and the Charcoal one ❤ good luck everyone with finding what works for you 😊
Hey SARA You should also make video on , vaginal hygiene . how to avoid worst smelling during menstruating, and how to prevent itching, redness and darkness too😕
these are amazing! i think the only think id add is to change your pillow sheets and sheets, dirt gets in them and they can ruin all your hard work that you are doing in the shower. Lastly, a tongue scrapper, your breath will smell fresher than ever and went get sick as often!
I swear by my Tushy Bidet! Not only does it properly clean you after using the bathroom, its great for rinsing during my period. I have a "spa" one with temp and pressure control 🙏🏾🙏🏾 haven’t had a UTI or an infection in YEARS.
About the electric toothbrushes: there are ones that spin and ones that vibrate and the ones that spin are better suited for you if you judge yourself not to be the best tooth-brusher. it‘s more likely to reach deeper spots between teeth if you just happen to hold it correctly for a second. the ones that vibrate are great if you know you‘re good at brushing your teeth and how to reach all those hidden corners. (I sell these things). and also don‘t forget to floss!
GIRL this video came at such a great time cause I’ve been struggling with the transition to aluminum free deodorant! Definitely getting some witch hazel next Target run
You know somebody's have issues with ph after having a baby which happened to me, but when my husband installed bidets on our toilets, I've never once had any issues since then. Don't have to do any other hygienic practices other than washing and keeping clean. If you don't have one I swear you would probably love it
Instead of oil pulling, I myself do water and salt gargle to take the germs out, it also helps with flu, if you feel like you are catching cold, doing this would detoxify your throat.
The rules I use for changing my tooth brush: 1. Minimum every three months 2. After an illness even if it's before the 3 month interval 3. If the bristles start going to soft or become deformed even if it's before the 3 month interval
Great tips! Thanks for them it felt as if a good friend was speaking to me 😊 The tips I would add: -Use dental floss. At least twice a weak, idealy daily. -Change your bedding at least every four weeks. - please do not use too much laundry detergent - it doesn't smell good at all and all in all better use producta with neutral smell than too many with to many different smells.
@@odettemoreta7492 I think this also depends on how your treat your bedding: do you sit on it with, other clothes on other than in your pyjama, is your bed coverd during daytime, is it hot outside, or do you sweat much. But 4 weeks is definitely the maximum (I am only in/on my bed, when it's night and I am going to sleep with my pyjama, also I am thankful nearly not sweating at all and my bed is always covered so dust can not place on the bedding- expect at night) But you are right - the tip is maybe not the best, because it depends on many many personal factors.
Girl why are you me??? I thought I was the only one who uses vinegar like that. It really enhances the detergent and brightness of your clothes. And acv eliminates odors on your body. AND it completely got rid of my dandruff. And you are too real and too funny.
Thank you very much. I really liked your talk. I am from Saudi Arabia, and here we are very interested in our personal hygiene because of our hot weather. You find everyone interested in showering daily and the pleasant smell. We also use Oud incense to perfume our hair and clothes. Most of them have their own perfume production line.
i just gotta add that you should also change your toothbrush after you recover from any kind of illness. i've known people who wouldn't and they were in a perpetual cycle of being sick.
I totally needed this!! I had went no aluminum but I was like BABYY what is going on?!😂 so I went right back to my dove cucumber, however I heard NATIVE is aluminum free and I have used their products, so now that I’ve got these tips I’m ready to try them and get consistent!! Cause I’m moving to Texas and BABYYY I KNOW THAT SUN BE SUNNING 😂😂😂 Thank you so much!! Looking forward to seeing what works for me!!
HEAVY on the double cleansing😭😭I started double cleansing a couple months ago and not only do I always feel cleaner after a shower, but I've had more people complimenting me on how I smell and I'm not even someone who wears perfume that often.
using bicarbonate of soda (NaHCO3) for your arm pits is the best because it neutralises the acid in sweat and eliminates armpit bacteria therefore abolishing the smell for the whole day even if you sweat. You can add essential oils to the bicarbonate so it smells nice e.g. rose essential oil, lavender, lemon ect. Also even if there is a few bacteria in the mouth they would denature (unable to harm) in the the PH of the stomach acid so one wouldn’t get ill if they didn’t brush their teeth before breakfast. However thanks for the advice ❤✨
I wholly agree with the ACV recs. I'd also love to add that doing a 10ish minute hair soak will shine up and smooth, at least my hair. ANDDD I do 1 part ACV 1 part water on my wash cloth and use it as cleanser.. man, it has changed my skin. It's cleaner and shinier. Obviously, everybody is different, so feel it out slowly if you're interested
You said that alcohol should never touch your skin and I just wanted to say that there is some in most skincare products, especially in lotion. By the way I love your videos.
About ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar): Its a wonder! I drink it 3x times a day at it helps with bloating and weightloss. Also use it (1 teaspoon in water) to clean my skin, clean little wounds. Did you know: applying ACV a few times a day on bruises will make them go away faster. I also put white vinegar acid (25%) into my washing machine, keeps it clean and makes your bed sheets white and fresh, also kills bacteria and odor!! You can use it even as a deodorant (just apply under your arms - 1 teaspoon in water and then rub it under your arms). If you have pimples or skin irritation you can use it, even when you have "sun allergie" or burned skin from sun bathing.......It really helps for nearly everything.
I’m baffled people only wash their body ONCE in the shower. I thought multiple washes was law lol I literally take hour showers and wash twice with bar soap and once with body wash mainly for the fragrance. Game changer: shower with antibacterial soap ladies, thank me later 😌
If you thought multiple washes was law you must be living under a rock. Some people do not need to do all of that and it actually harms their skin. Be fr.
Same. I thought everyone washed at least twice. I rinse first (use washcloth without soap) then wash twice, in shower moisturizer, then rinse one more time. I recommend: 1. Rinse 2. Exfoliating wash (I use a brush/loofah with Dr. Bonners peppermint soap) 3. Moisturizing wash (milk based soap) 4. Rinse 5. Moisturize while damp (oil please!) Then a quality deodorant. I love Oscar de la Renta - worth the money! Follow with a matching perfume. Bonus: spray your perfume in your palms & rub them together & along your arms like lotion. Not too much! Just enough to let the smell circulate & rise up when you move your limbs around 🥰 Other tips: - put smell goods in your dresser drawers & closets - put smell goods in your dirty clothes hamper -they can smell good before washing!!!
Yeah I was raised to wash twice. Once to get the dirt that sticks to your body and the second to get rid of the dirt produced by your body. Every time I make the mistake of showering once, I feel gross after a 2-3 hours.
That’s hilarious. I wash once with exfoliating soap, then again with a washcloth, especially pits and parts with moisturizing body wash. I have a friend who takes a 2-3 minute shower, including washing and moisturizing her hair, and does not use any type of washcloth. I seriously can’t figure out how she stays clean. She does shower twice a day, though, and I think maybe most days she just wets her hair.
Thank you so much! These tips are great ❤ I thought I knew all about hygiene cause I take shower twice a day and wash my hair every morning, but there are so many things we are really seldom paying attention to. I highly recommend watching this for everybody!
Something I do want to point out is that your downstairs doesn't need help to regulate pH. It's self regulating. Adding anything extra into your downstairs is a shortcut to a uti or yeast infection.
i oil pull with coconut 3 times a week at least, just cause the acid ive heard could break down your enamel, i get compliments from my dentist every time i go! also i notice i purchase mouthwash way more often when im not pulling at the v least once or twice a week.
Honestly you can use normal saline instead of witch hazel, probably much more cheaper and since it's basically salt water, it'll be enough to sterilize your belly button & ears I'm a fan of salt soaps too. It's simply only made of salt and you can use ut for your armpits. Both takes the odor away and supplies sodium to your body and completely natural. Make sure using it while ending your shower. After that dries out, you can use glycolic acid on your armpits. Again takes the odor away and makes the melanin hyperpigmentation go away. Peace 🤍
