Cassette toilets are available. Google Thetford. Shower pans are also available to match, but right now the only vendors I see are in Europe. But ordering parts from Europe isn't a big deal. I do it often from vintage car parts.

My camera died and I missed a piece so I had to rerecord it. And yes, she is a very lovely person, inside and out.

+Midway - LOL....it was the pants! Joni was filming and I think there was some technical malfunction so we had to refilm later in the day and I had already changed pants. It was too warm for jeans in the rainforest. We just went with it. :) This is RV life after all.

Thanks, Amber! Everyone I've watched favors the composting toilet over a cassette. They cite the smell as the prime reason.

I like the composting toilets as well though I haven't had one. The cassette doesn't smell if you add the chemicals to it. I'm not too keen on chemicals, but I tried it without and it does smell if you don't use it.

I followed the Tour de France in 2005, by renting a Hymer in Frankfurt Germany and driving all over France, Spain and Belgium. It was kind of like a very small class A. It did have a cassette toilet and worked great, although I would go with a composting toilet now. Hymer is considered the premier brand in Europe. I love their design and quality AND storage!! I hope they continue to bring innovations to the US market. I love the skylight in this van. The one I rented had one similar. It adds so much light and headroom!! I like your channel and videos!! Hers, of course, are from Hymer (a European RV manufacturer). I found them for my build company here: www.ternoverland.com/arctic-tern-window Don't know about sourcing in Australia, though.

The Euro vans and RV s are light year or two nicer than US market!! That is super van!! A microwave storage box...smart!! Going to sub her channel! The cassette toilet is way practical!!

I like the Hymer. I am European and all RV toilets are cassette only on wheels.

Hello Joni. I liked the tour, thank you. The problems I see with these class B vans are, no place to take a shower(without spending more time cleaning up after) and the high cost. Most are well over $100K and that's before modifications , i e solar systems. Usually the start price is $150K. I guess if you start well off money wise this shouldn't be an issue. Well that's my two cents worth. Be safe in your journeys and bye for now.
