It's about a bishop (ibn qiqi ابن قيقي is the name of the bishop) from around 600 - 1900 century (not exactly sure) that converted to islam. He later regret his choice and begged for forgiveness. This is his prayer (hymn) in the language of Jesus (Aramaic).

He was "mafrian" (head of the Eastern part of the Syriac Church). Named Ebn Qiqi of Bagdad. He was mafrian in the years 991-1016. But I don't know if he became muslim or not. What I read is that "he left the christian faith". But he returned and wrote some very sad poems.
