When you charge $44 for a can of sardines, you gotta act like removing the skin is a huge value-add. One day, Comur will quit fooling around and finally do a collab with Supreme. Maybe that's the gold flakes talking.

If I ever came into a ridiculous amount of money, I would need these for a prank. I'd rent an air conditioned storage unit somewhere in a busy city and have it paid for 20 years. Inside this unit I would place a single old-fashioned bedside table in the very center of the room, and on that I will set a briefcase. Inside the briefcase will be a dozen of these tins, and a carefully concealed lead plate to give the whole thing some gold-like heft. After 20 years, the clock starts ticking on the funniest episode of storage wars you've ever seen.

Mr Carlson, I got the courage to go to the grocery store and buy myself a can of olive oil sardines because of you. It wasn't very flavorful and had a pretty grainy texture. I put them on garlic and herb flavored water crackers. I unfortunately wasn't able to finish the can. Before throwing away the last 4-5 poor fishes, I cracked open one out of curiosity. There was a small delicate spine inside, I ripped it out and ate it because I read online it was a good source of calcium. I didn't feel more powerful after eating it, but I think that's where the grainy texture came from. Unfortunately I will not be joining the sardines club.
