Just wanna thank you all for the lovely comments and memories shared… it’s awesome to see this tune still getting the love after all these years ❤… a 2024 remaster is on the way - if you’re up for it? Stay High James HGG
We used to play this as a last tune to our events/raves in the early 00s a tune that means so much to so many people, especially as I acquired it from a record shop owner by chance. A re release would be great 👍
Don’t be sad it’s gone, be happy you were there and lived through these amazing times like I did, I still dance to these tunes in garage lol I’m 50 in October and can still dance like I was 20.
@@sparks5063 But you'd really stand out. When I go to Oldskool events & dance from midnight to 4, there's only a few of us. Everyone under 30 just stands, or bounces, with their hand in the air with their mobile phone, taking pics of how great they look. We've lost 2 generations of dancers now.
Alexander Preston lol the muppet John Major was in office when this came out... problem was we were all too busy having a good time to give a F*** back then...
The comments from the younguns who did not grow up with this tune but still think its amazing speaks volumes about yourselves and how touching this tune really is its a pure masterpiece.
cory mckeague's bin Hey me and you can relate to this track and I know your sentence wasn’t easy over in the USA and I’m in Nottingham Midlands not far from you fam 👊🏽 Hope everything has turned out much differently from prison 👏🏽👊🏽
Another Old Skool classic. I wish there was a way I could jump back in time and experience another rave at the height of the rave scene because I would be there in an instant.
We all would mate. Although we move on with our lives, the days long now gone are a part of all of us. I sometimes wonder when we are breathing our last breaths whether we will spend a moment to reflect on the happiness we once felt. I hope so and also that when we do we smile.
Tears.... For the era... The memories... We were one. Stomping our asses off.. No fights, no drama. Just love. Big hugs.. "what's your name, where you from"...
That’s what I remember most (apart from the tunes) it was all love, I would never see any fights at raves, like you said, you were chatting to everyone asking where they were from etc. take me back please lol
I'm not a dad but still nearly 46. Yes we did have some unforgettable, unique days in those years. And can still go stronger n longer than the younguns at festivals nowadays. It's a shame that a new scene has never emerged with such scale, fun and impact since. Never any attitude, clubbing and raving was pretty much all uplifting. And nobody was worried about what they looked like... nobody glued to their phone wasting their hours on FB or tik tok and the like. I find it very sad seeing the todays youth. There's a real world out there...with real experiences to be had.....not all this fake cyber shite. Anyway this old man needs to go.....I've got a rave in a field with my name in it 😎😎😎😎🥰🙏☮️
All I know, now is people live in virtual communication... I grew up socialising with mates in person, down local pubs, raving at weekends. Now people argue and waste time on devises and crave to be like snap shots on insta... Glam I'm older 😉
You will never let go of music like this because it gets in your mind, body and soul and stays there forever.....heard this when I was 18 now am 48 and what a tune..
Absoloiute ALL time fav!! I'm 40 now and still get the airs up on my neck listening to this!!! the door is ALWAYS open and never fully shut after a chemical liason with music :) x
This was a banger!!! Drugs, music ,raves, everything was better...innocence,love and that youthful optimism and freedom every weekend!!! 18,driving around in my Capri all over Britain...best times ever, now I am 48...never let go!!!
Im 23 and was probably in dipapers when ya'll were out raving to this, but I can imagine that this particular song bring tears in the eyes of an old school raver. Peace!
56 year old but still love bouncin to great tunes goosbumps feckin magic all u young uns makin me feel old .But thankfully never grew up lifes a party njoi
Emma Orr wise girl! oldskoolforeva:) I'm still going nuts to this and it's quarter of a century old I think! but I'm quite teary cos it was utopia from 1990-1992. sniff! x
I am 40 also and this song is fuckin rockin The Pier and Bowlers early 90's avin it large wish the E was still as good now, hairs on my neck standin up. Wish I could go back soooooooooo much the best days of my life!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll never never let go, never let go of my Blackburn days in illegal warehouse partys. All towns and citys have theirs, mine was Blackburn. Hardcore uproar!!
Eben Keel 64 AND STILL LISTENING TO HOUSE, ELECTRONICA, TRANCE. you're as old as you feel and I would love to go to the clubs and dance, but I'm afraid I'd be "humiliated" to leave. So listen and dance in my house.
I’m 34 and I do know I’ve been brought up with this I’ve tried showing lots of my mates and my kids mates, not interested. They don’t know what they are missing lol
1993,,i was 41,,and clubbing again, purely cos of the dance scene back then. music i had been looking for all my life,,having suffered the shitty 70s discos, and cheese music. the early 90s was like living in a dream come true. out every weekend, knowing we were living at a special moment in time. some say the beatles changed the music world,,but late 80s and early 90s dance was so much bigger.
Absolutely Mal matey! For me, the BEST decade for music was '86 - '95.... the start of House, going into what is now OldSkool.... I was mid 30s when it kicked off ... so I was 40 in 1993.... I never did the drugs - the music got me high enough.... Some of the tunes still give me goosebumps or bring tears to my eyes.... I still have over 500 12" vinyls from back in the day. I still go to OldSkool nights when I can... (Promised Land or whatever)... Still a great atmosphere and no-one judges age - we're all there for the music.... Only thing now is that younger folk just don't dance - they just stand & bounce & point a finger (usually with an IPhone or beer in the other hand)... Sad... Where did the dancing go?
well said mate,i never did drugs,,with music like it was, never understood the reason for them.my mind is full of great memories of nights out in leeds,it was just so good to be alive and kicking back then.
RIP Joe McShane ...loved your company , never seen the Cheshire cat smile so much !! You took me with you to a better place , thanks for being 100% diamond geezer !! 😥
born in burnley, lived an dj'd in blackburn for many years @ north bar wit ronnie an gillie who where the guys who started the original blackburn raves, what can u say bout this tune....feelings ...emotion...love.....xxxx ..
This is another fantastic track from back in the day,I wish I had a time machine and go back and do it all over again.I loved the dance scene with a loyal passion and I still do,it was amazing, mesmerizing, fantastic, beautiful.
Alas I was a little too young for clubbing when this came out but I bought this on 12" when it came out. So much happy memories of me and brother bedroom dj'ing. Teen of the 90s and this was my soundtrack!
I love reading these comments.❤ I'm 36 now and I get the same vibes . good times growing up in the 90s and early 2000s. Before cell phones and watered down "EDM". ~Peace ✌
49 now ,,, this was our life, young uns now have no idea what every city was like early 90s ,,,, lots of love about ,,,, no morons , everyone singing of the same hymn sheet 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀💙💗 makes me smile writing this ,,,,, glad we witnessed it x peace
