A coworker was in WTC 1 that day after WTC 2 was hit and before it fell. As soon as she made it to the 1st floor and got outside the first responders were telling everyone, “RUN!” She was found in a daze, 24 blocks away. She didn’t know where she was and was barefoot with severe lacerations to her feet. It took her weeks to “snap out of it” and figure out which of her friends/coworkers had lived or died. It was horrible. Thanks for letting me share that.

Thank you sir l suffer from this and lt's not easy at all l feel like l'm going to pass out and chest hurts a lot, fear is so intense sometimes it is really the worst l'm in a constant alert of others, and environment. I wish it could go away, so exhausting to fight with the mind.

Great discussion, I have CPTSD and hyperarousal from childhood dv and adulthood dv and now suffer from fibromyalgia and trigeminal neuralgia (from adulthood dv injury). I think trauma and it’s after effects are not in the spotlight enough regarding mental health and treatments.

Very interesting discussion. Dr. Art mentioned about reprocessing of the event to start balancing the nervous system. Dr. Bal could be a talented EFT ( which employ tapping) practitioner among his other talents in psychology. They also use a kind of "movie" technique when they visually get back to the event and start searching the most distressful moment. Sometimes it is even a small detail which plays trick in terms of releasing blockages in the body and "freezing". I am not a specialist but I do like Dr. Roland's presentations. I think that his approach is a big help for people with PTSD.

Hi Julia. Thanks for listening in. Replaying the event in slow motion and providing enough containment to process emotional residue related to the event is a great tool in healing trauma. Art uses tapping actually while doing this. I use a more attention focus within this process. Keep tuned in for new content. Roland
