Agree, hope this can be a full video. This is what’s causing my most recent flare up and it’s directly tied to my fear of developing schizophrenia and sleep deprivation.

Could you please do a full video on this? I feel like I suffer this after a really bad DPDR episode. I think it made me aware that my consciousness can be effected and like made me notice my own consciousness and perspective. It kinda feels like I’m watching myself but from my own POV. It’s hard to explain but I would think it is this. It’s super uncomfortable and impossible to not think about because we’ll, it’s literally your consciousness. I’ve tried to just embrace it and not care and appreciate it but It doesn’t work. A full video explaining how to get over this would help.

I'm going through the same thing, you explain it to the tea. I hope he makes a longer video about this because it can be upsetting at times. There are times I want to cry.

this is literally what is happening to me, mine started after a month after my depersonalisation episode, and it feels like im just too aware of myself, like literally feeling this while typing this. it feels like i can trigger it on purpose, when i think about myself too much. then when i think about it/ look at myself for tooo long, i literally feel like i summersaulted inside the back of my head and i’m witnessing myself weirdly. and i feel this huge panic moment

When I’m hyper aware of my consciousness I always feel off, like I’m missing something and then I keep question my reality, trying to find what feels right, but I don’t know what feels right. Don’t know if this makes any sense

I don't know if i have this particular theme but it kiiiiinda makes sense. My obsessive thinking started after long repetitive dissociative episodes that kind of stuck for a couple of weeks and freaked me out. After i stopped feeling that dissociated, i started to notice that i was obsessing about how i perceive the world aaaall the time. Like how do i feel know? Do i feel like i dissociate? Do i perceive normally the world? I am fully present now but i cant seem to stop being hyper aware of my environment around me and how i perceive it each and every time. Does that makes any type of sense?

@@CourtneySDawn let me let you, it gets better. I can even say that i am fully "cured" from it. In my case it was a symptom of hyper awareness ocd & working with my therapist with mindfulness and act techniques really made the difference

@@CourtneySDawnit seems like you're in the spectrum between hyper awareness & existential ocd. It sounds bad, but it actually is really easy to be treated. First and foremost, you accept the hell out of it, even if its difficult to do so or uncomfortable & you accept every thought that is trying to convince you that this is the worst thing ever and you have no chance. It is all a pattern. Start therapy with someone who specialises in ocd & uses mindfulness as a technique and i promise you you feel instantly better. You got this girl

@@theodoraadrl9362 it definitely is it started from a panic attack on the simulation theory and then morphed into different philosophical theories, now it’s just hyper awareness of existence and being a conscious being. I’m so depressed, Iv tried looking into ERP therapies but I can’t afford them where I am. It’s been 3 months for me and I feel like I will never view the world the same or feel normal again

Guys mine is pretty different. I focus on people around me way too much i note what they say how they respond how their body language changes to what i say. Is it also hyper awareness ocd?

I have this! For me its started with a large amount if mindfulness during my day. So now im stuck in always be mindful amd i cant relax , and i am hyperaware of that, if it makes sence. But i also can not stop to be aware of that. I can not become like i waa , i cant relax. How can i overcome this ocd with mindfulness if its started with mindfulness? Did someone experienced the same?

I have experienced somthing similar. My mind used to get focused on a particular sensation or body part and I was very aware of it. best u can do is letting ur self experience it without judgment and it goes away. When I say judgment I mean by letting that awareness stay without trying to remove it.
