Should You Buy in 2022? The game has gone viral in recent weeks, even though it was released nearly two years ago. Lets dive in to see if Hypercharge Unboxed is worth your time?
It’s such a shame that we can’t hold on to that feeling of euphoria, when you’re either gifted a cool brand new toy for Christmas or Birthdays or even saving enough pocket money to buy your own. Life takes its toll and until Hypercharge Unboxed released, all I could do to replicate those feelings was to live vicariously through my 5-year-old son when we’re playing with his toys in a world he’s imagining.
But thanks to Hypercharge Unboxed, now I can feed my cravings for nostalgic child like happiness, whilst also feeding my cravings to play games! What a world we live in!

Cybercerises numériques je suis impressionné du travaille que vous avez réalisé sur le jeux j'ai l'impression de joué à du Toy Commander Je pense que si vous réduisez la taille des personnage alors les décor paraîtront plus immense se qui laissera plein de possibilité au gameplay est même assemblé les pièce entre elle est y passé par des trou de souris, canalisation bouche d'aération ou même des téléporter (dans un aquarium...) et pour finalisé un parachute pour plané, désolé je rêvé. Courage à vous tous et bravo à toute l’équipe!

Hey guys been playing for a week, some things like PVP need some love, and the player base/ population will rise. just snappier movement that doesn't feel squishy when you move and aim, having issues with the mantle mechanic not always grabbing but that could be my keyboard not clicking 100% as well lol. I do enjoy the game overall though. Got a few videos on my page to bring some awareness to the title.

I didn't know they were thinking of making a story mode, that would be great! So far I've played the demo, and while I absolutely love the aesthetics of being a little toy in this massive world, I too think that the Tower Defense and PvP aspect is just scratching the surface on an awesome concept. A story mode might make me pick it up, and it would be great to see the toys' journey, maybe encountering new toys through the decades and eventually becoming the owner's kids' toys when they become adults (without ripping off Toy Story too much, haha). Thanks for the great video!

I literally just picked this up, I'm already honestly inlove with this game... I get such small soldiers move vibes from this I love it!! maps are beautifully made and the amount of enemy mobs i've encoutered just makes me laugh and put a smile on my face, I hope they continue to update this game.

@@DigitalCybercherries Hypercharge is really excellent, it clearly reminds me of Toy Commander, Toy Soldier, Army Men, or even the Fear 2 dlc "toy soldier" and also Stephen King's Little Soldiers movie which was excellent too! A Small Soldiers mod adding an even smaller scaling that will make the levels bigger would be great, in capture the flag or deathmatch, new maps with secret passages in the walls or mouse holes wc, sink, pipes interaction with switch, light, or fan objects to make the little green soldiers fly, for example. Hypercharge is a great game as it is, with a little more attention Hypercharge would be PERFECT!! 20/20

This game is just scratching the surface to a incredible single player story mode and a unreal ever expanding multiplayer pvp 👍🏻 hopefully we can make our own toys or obtain parts to alter the “shell” of a toy into whatever we wanted “GI Joe, with T-Rex legs” 🥰

I've got 20 hours in the last 3 days, and for the price I would absolutely recommend this to anyone whos just looking for a good time. I've mainly played waves, mixed with a sprinkle of TDM, and both were good, but they were great once 3 more of the boys go into it. Again for 16 dollars, I'll get at least 100 hours before I feel burned out, and the best part is if they continue with the success we will see new weapons, new maps, new enemies, etc.. 7.8/10

So I’m just finding out about this game and I will say I love games when it shrinks the player I love “miniature” adventures because what we might see as a backyard then becomes a jungle. It puts you in awe. I’ve been dying to get hot wheels as well and as a 90s kid I loved hot wheels to death that I remember going to stores hunting for a shark cruiser because and when I watched honey we shrunk ourselves. I would spend hours experimenting taking apart and putting together different trick tracks. And now you being able to play and battle other toys reminds me of movies like toy story,small soldiers and even the show a little bit of battle bots.

slow movement, cool idea but poorly implemented. bullets literally do no damage, 20+ hits to kill even a bot is a joke.

Just found this game last weekend... and me and my friends have yet to put it down! We all absolutely LOVE it... I am kind of low key obsessed with it if i'm honest! lmao. I hope they do add a story mode.... that is all that is missing imo!

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned that this game resembles Toy Soldiers Cold War in the sense of the tower defense scheme. That was game was awesome but was never online capable. It's a shame that game didn't expand beyond that but what was cool was that the DLC included JI Joe, COBRA and He-Man. Edit: The War Chest Edition has all that plus online play for Xbox One and PS4.

Hey Respawned, thank you for such a great open and honest review of the game ! I’m actually purchasing it today I played the demo, and really enjoyed what I saw from it! This game has so much potential to really knock the socks off of the entire gaming industry and really bring back a nostalgic feel. I did see a comment earlier to where they said they get small soldiers vibes and I completely agree along with toy story! I can’t wait until we see the story mode for this game, don’t be surprised when this game really does take over

This is everything I have wanted from a throwback shooter. It has the fast, crazy gameplay of Unreal, with a crisp and unique art style, and best of all the game knows exactly what it wants to be. I am definitely picking this up and sinking hours into it when I get some free time.

i played this demo couple years ago when it first came on the eShop and though most of the maps and items were locked for the demo, i spent a whole two nights, probably 20+ hours, playing this game demo for the sheer nostalgia that poured out of it. though, i remember feeling the asking price had been a little high for such a simple game with no campaign (or co op at the time), so i was a bit disheartened. however, i'm stoked to hear so much recent praise of it, which has led me to look into the awesome feedback and response from the creators and community, respectively. and i'm waiting on the download now, because you and a couple other great content creators have rekindled my curiosity and excitement for this little gem, so i am willing to shill out some coin for the game finally ☀️🌙⭐

The only thing is that it's got no story or exploration adventure n all that I want those things but I like pvp more than pve gets boring I don't like bullet sponges! And the nature of the mode is to make enemies not smarter or better just stronger and more health n damage while ur health n damage out put go down it sucks. But ya if it were more of a fortnight style game play it would be a must buy and could compete with it maybe if it were a br or maybe a sequel spin off idk. But I like so many Things about the game like how it looks and plays but not the tower defense and fight the ai stuff idk. But it looks like itd be a decent thing to play after doom eternal maybe lol.

It’s kind of weird to me that there isn’t a RU-vidr who makes a bunch of Hypercharge content like I see for other games. Every person I see playing it seems to only be doing it because they’re being sponsored or they have some short-lived curiosity. I’m thinking about getting the game next week, but I want to make sure there’s a decent sized player base before I do. Is this game really worth getting?

The environments that this small team has created are unbelievable. There's something missing, though, that is preventing me from wanting to play more. I can't quite put my finger on it. I don't know if it's the movement, gun play or the game modes (or a combination).. I'm really not into tower defense. The story mode will be a great addition. Undoubtedly, there's a ton of potential here with this game.

exploring the whole house in one go wouldn't make any sense as a solo game because it'd mean it would end in 2hrs tops. Tower defense games never work better than in the confines of a single map if its well designed, and playing coop. Such a weird take to want the game to have a robust solo campaign when clearly the core of it is having coop fun.

im not sure where you live, but google could convert this currency for you.... you're better off spending £250 - £300 on a basic refurbished low budget gaming PC, and then replacing the graphics card with a cheap yet satisfying newer graphics card. i done this with my set up and im running some of the latest games with crisp performance and very nice visuals. you'll spend a maximum of £400 doing this and you'll have a reliable setup for coming years. i suggest a gt 1030 for a really cheap yet well balanced graphics card. it performs new games pretty well while providing much better visuals than whatever you previously had, and they're avaiable in abundance on amazon. if you ever want to know how your PC would run a game, just go into your setting and look up what your system is running (cpu, gpu, ssd's, hdd's), specify your graphics card and search that gpu in youtube with the game title you wish to play, and it SHOULD have a video on how that game runs with that card.

I wrote a comment in the Steam Forums of this game and immediately got community banned by one of the devs and now my core Steam Features are unusable for some weeks. Let's just say they are banning all negative comments in the discussion boards and negative comments meaning criticism. Sucks when you have devs who believe they are high and might above everyone when you're trying to advertise a 2 year old game that didn't have a good launch. It shows who's the real winner as you can clearly see the playbase numbers on this game lol. And also spamming Xbox twitter and spamming selfies on your Twitter is not gonna do justice. It's only gonna kill your game even more by shoving it down peoples throats. Very simple easy criticism that caught the devs heart I guess. Just careful when you really wanna review this game.
