Wait what Compa worshipped Noire in the OG? I don't even remember her mentioning who she worshipped in Rebirth 1 so I just always assumed since she lived in Planeptune she'd worship Neptune. Did I miss something when playing Rebirth 1 that said who she worshipped?
No no, Compa was from Planeptune, and would have worshipped Purple Heart. She simply uses "My lady" as a formality with all of the other goddesses except Neptune as at this point, she didn't know Neptune _was_ a goddess. But it's important to realize the original Neptunia and Re;Birth1 have extensive differences. Although they share the same overarching plot, Re;Birth1 is a complete re-write that went out of it's way to make changes, from completely omitting entire characters and plot threads to introducing a few new ones along with the cameos from the Victory DLC characters. The end result is that Re;Birth1 has as little in common with the original game as Re;Birth1 has with say, Re;Birth2. I encourage you to watch all the videos in the original Neptunia playlist. You'll see the original game is quite different than Re;Birth1, and often in ways that make it actually superior.
@@SatoshiMatrix1 Ahh right that makes a lot more sense. I've been going through your playlists and slowly but surely watching the entirety of the OG game. I don't see myself ever playing it and I really appreciate that the entire story is just here on youtube. I wish Idea Factory and Compile Heart would release another mainline game as captivating as this one (or a mainline game in general for that matter). It's somehow more serious yet also funnier than rebirth 1. I'm really glad someone like you took the effort to create this series and that you still care about the franchise and responded really quickly. Almost 6 years without a mainline game but it's so nice that Neptunia still matters to some people
@@vanillakevs5469 The original Neptunia is a glorious mess. The actual gameplay is slow, and the battle system is incredibly tedious with lengthy load times and boring battle mechanics. Re;Birth1's reuse of Neptunia Victory's battle system is by far the best improvement the game could have ever hoped for. I created the original Neptunia playlist to allow people to experience the diamond in the rough story without the terrible gameplay. Seriously, the original game is not fun to play. Even as a fan. The other thing I did was edited out the loading, and replaced 90% of the soundtrack. The original game has a very....atmospheric soundtrack that is very limited and seldom matches the tone the scene is going for. Complain to Idea Factory and their recording studio, Bang Zoom Entertainment. It's a complicated story, but to summarize, there as a big Screen Actors Guild strike in 2016-2017 where actors were protesting bad working conditions, unfair contracts and pay disputes. Following the strike, Idea Factory refused to sign on any actor in the SAG union including Erin Fitzgerald , even though Fitzgerald had had a union contract with them for every single Neptunia game prior. She has stated on record she would love to reprise her role as Noire if Idea Factory would only sign the union contract. They have no reason not to. Fans need to demand she comes back. Please, if you care about Erin's amazing Noire voice, please join in the thousands of others who have sent letters to Idea Factory and Bang Zoom about this.
@@SatoshiMatrix1 she actually did record for VIi her dialog for Dark Black was used in game they just had Union Actress Erica Mendez redub Noire. The rest of the cast are union too. It sounds more like a personal pay dispute.
@@JeffreyPiatt I don't know all of the details and if I'm wrong about Mendez then that's even stranger. Unless she was lying, Fitzgerald herself told me that she couldn't discuss the legal details but she was _not_ seeking a pay raise, merely union guideline compliance.
