Safe Life's Hyperline Armor was quite impressive in our earlier test - so we took a few suggestions from the comment section and decided to shoot it again! This is a Level IIIA vest, meaning all of these rounds tested in this video are above the rating of the armor. Yet it still performs impressively!

What looked like SS197SR no less. Hardened copper or steel penetrator rounds can pass through 2 full Kevlar inserts.

The amount of energy absorption is incredible, even after being shot multiple times. Those 50 cal and 12ga can't feel good when it stops the bullet. Those truball slugs have over 2800 ft/lbs

Hyperline exceed what’s its rated for which is a plus. Also you cannot be stabbed through it either. The Hyperline vest defeated everything most people should probably shoot you with like 40sw, 9mm, 45acp, 38spl, 22lr and maybe 12ga buckshot. For rifle threats duck behind something a rifle can’t penetrate or buy the FRAS vest from Safe life defense and be protected from both handgun and rifle fire. The FRAS system does weight 2 1/2 times more tho.

Would you spend the money for the Soft armor or stick to the cheaper plates? Looks like a $800+ difference.

depends on the use and threat. A concealable vest like this is more practical to wear in public. A plate carrier is a serious threat high visibility option.

Can u PLEASE Try to shoot aluminum metal foam panels They are light as foam but can DESENEGRATE a depleted uranium tank round I use a metal foam amour A 1/2 Inch stop 1 javilin as tested can u please shoot a panel or two And see if can break it

Dude used the weakest 5.7 ammo on the market use the red box or elite ammo everyone will go through but it’s expected that’s what it’s made for so no surprises there. I think it’s a great vest

My biggest thing scaring me from buying these is the fact that with provided us with these and i had a buddy punch my in the chest and i felt everything. In already going to hate my life with plates so i can't imagine what kind of internal damage these would cause.

I'm curious as to who borrowed the technology form who?.... I have 2 GH Armour Ethos ll and Ethos lll {level 2 and 3A} the TOP of the Line from GH Armour and the layering of the vests with Kevlar and Dyneema is pretty close to one another. the Ethos lll is DEA and FBI Complient/certified for special threat rating.
