In this episode, the Shady Bunch is divided as they take sides for and against some of the excesses related to mental health among Gen Zs. But before going into that, they kick off the episode by exploring 'Hypersensitivity' and ponder whether the phrase 'thou shalt not judge' should be taken literally.

What I will say is that never ever undermine someone’s struggle no matter how small because we have different capacities and what someone sees as inconsequential can be another persons greatest struggle

Speaking on getting help 29:39 for mental health is a really tough one and people shouldn’t trivialize it even though others abuse it. It can be so bad that you don’t even have the strength or courage to talk to anyone about it, not to talk about even taking yourself to the doctors or professionals in those areas. Let’s not even get started on how it be your friends who will even start by making you feel bad, joking about it… and asking you to “come off it”, then a doctor who has been on strike for weeks or probably has been on call for the longest will now make passive comments insinuating that you are well because everyone in Nigeria is equally going through tough times.

People keep mental health issues a secret and would prefer not to ask around so they just conclude that help is not readily available.

She has the aura of a presenter.Thank you for choosing her -especially since she said she studied mass communication . Im sure she wont be lying. She is also decent and would not sleep her way through to get something...to be honest im pleased with the chioce. Lady presenter- please you should also go ahead a get more training so you english would be heard and pronunciations would be worked on. You seem to have the right attitude. God bless you.

I agree that help for mental health is not readily available in Nigeria, compared to the global North. I was a teaching on a Global mental health course last year and the statistics are alarming. There are few therapist and professionals compared to the population. How many Nigerians can even afford these services? As a matter of fact, a large percentage do not even know where to find this help. I get all the arguments but this factor is one to take seriously when advocating for mental health.

I agree with Sammy, in most times it's not about the tone, some people are just too sensitive about everything, just like my ex😅

Only God can judge because he said that shall not judge! We have only two judge, God and the count so any man or women who is a judge is to be a helper to that problem!!
