Here are my thoughts I have used used 12mm and 14mm massage gun Vibrational devices now for over 6 months I find myself wanting more, so once I used the theragun I am now able to get into the muscles much better and I feel the recovery to them is a lot faster , just my 2 cents

I agree. Theragun is better in my opinion. I feel it more into the muscle fibre than hypervolt that tends to just vibrate at the surface.

Would have been nice if you would have actually turned it on and showed what it was like to use it on your back. Theses type of massagers don't look like it would be easy to use on your back. These designs don't take into account that. Will have to try one, but not feeling optimistic. I have a Brookstone with a long handle that is wearing out after 15 years. Has a long handle and can reach to the middle of my back. Unfortunately, the reviews for their current model states not enough power.

Can you use it while charging? I mean, if the battery is low, can you connect it to the power supply and still use it with power or it will not work?

What’s the point of having a 90 watt motor if the stall force and speed are the same? I have a Jawku 2.0 with a 30 watt motor and it has a higher stall force, higher rpm, way more battery life and it’s also 14mm. It feels and sounds like It is built better too. Just haven’t found a good reason to “upgrade” to hypervolt yet…

How does this compare to the ekrin b37s? The hypervolt 2 pro has a longer stroke length than the ekrin, 14mm vs 12mm. Does this make a substantial difference? I like Ekrin's lifetime warranty but I'm not sure which gun to go with.

Don't buy it! My Hypervolt pro 2 only lasted a couple months before the on / off switch broke. So far, they have basically ignored my warranty. So, don't buy it,it's cheaply made. They won't honor they're warranty.

@@BestMassageTech also if price is not in the equation between voltplus and 2 pro which is better between thosec2 and why.. And which would be theargun elite version It's mainly for neck shoulder and back pain. Also your review on theragun it sounds very loud like an egg beater and I have tinnitus so should I forget about theragun. Or is it superior to the hypervolt plus or 2 pro and why
@BestMassageTech
@BestMassageTech 2 года назад
@@mikerobbins4138 if you’re really getting down to the nitty gritty the 2 pro is better but not by much. I only say that because it has two additional speeds. Otherwise the specs are nearly identical. The big changes are the 2 pro is lighter and a new handle. The elite is the superior device as it’s stronger, higher stall force, longer stroke length and the triangle design allows you to reach a variety of angles. It also comes with a case. If you’re worried about sound, it’s definitely louder but not anything I would write it off over. Depends on how sensitive your tinnitus is I suppose.
@Bendova215
@Bendova215 2 года назад
I had the theragun pro didn't like it returned it . I like this much better . Alot of the stuff with theragun to me is a gimmick like the screen triangle design it was also huge and I find this much easier to hold and use and I would not recommend the elite from theragun because the battery is non-removable so once it dies the unit's done.

Ok so I bought this brand because my trainer recommended it over theragun because she said the vibration sensation is better than the constant punching sensation for recovery. But do you recommend the regular hypervolt 2 because it’s 12 mm vs 14 mm (theragun is 16mm). Or should I just stick to the Hypervolt 2 Pro I got.
@BestMassageTech
@BestMassageTech 2 года назад
I personally prefer Theragun over Hypervolt because of the longer stroke length so if you are set on staying with Hypervolt than yes I would say the 2 Pro is the one you should stick with. If you get it and decide it feels too vibrational than I would highly recommend a Theragun instead.
@codeofcodedotorg
@codeofcodedotorg 2 года назад
@@BestMassageTech First off thank you for your answer. All the reviews say get theragun but my trainer insists on Hypervolt. So I got the Hypervolt 2 Pro. The vibration is supposed to be better for increased blood flow so that’s why I went for it. I was just wondering if because of the 14mm travel distance, does it feel too close to theragun and does the regular Hypervolt give a better vibration sensation because it’s only 12mm. According to my trainer she said go for the vibration over drilling if that makes sense. Anyways, you got me very intrigued about theragun as well. Hopefully I made the right choice.
@BestMassageTech
@BestMassageTech 2 года назад
@@codeofcodedotorg if vibration is what you are seeking than the 2 is honestly a better option.
@codeofcodedotorg
@codeofcodedotorg 2 года назад
@@BestMassageTech Ok, thanks again, so I went and bought the Theragun Pro for a couple hours and tested it then ended up returning it. Here is why, in case you’re curious. Theragun felt like constant punching without any wave feeling, while Hypervolt felt more therapeutic. So one felt more like a strong massage while the other felt better for recovery. Also, the heads for the Hypervolt felt allot better. The default one is flatter with a bigger surface area, while the fork felt immensely useful which was missing from Theragun. The noise levels were vastly different as well, as Theragun starts out louder and get much louder once it makes contact to your skin. The adjustable head wasn’t all that useful either, but I will admit the handle had some very useful angles. And like you mentioned Theragun comes with a case. Overall I feel like they are completely different products and I favored the Hypervolt for the most part so the 2 Pro is what I’m sticking with. Thanks for your replies, I’m much more at peace now that I tried the other big brand and know for sure the one I had suited me the best.
